Well's been churning a lot of GBBs lately (mostly Glocks with holes), but this caught my eye. No idea on the quality of their cast alloy, but hey, $49!

If it can hold gas and fire reasonably, then this is a fantastic bargain. If not, a nice little plinker gun.

Does look like a nice little pew pew, cheap and cheerful.

I saw few WELL Hi Capa (5.1 and 5.1 Dragon). They use potmetal, everywhere. The slide is really heavy. You can shoot around 7-11 shoots with one gas-filling...

No,thanks, only if I need a paper-weight or a pistol in my glass-cabinet.

Knowing "well" and their terrible fit and finish, i'd still take the "Army R45" (TM detonics clone) as they cost around the same and aside the ocasional nozzle breakage(replace with TM) they perform great out of the box. I've had one for around 3 years now and i'd totally buy another one if mine ever decides to chew itself to pieces.

- Rifles- Tippmann m4, GHK AK74u , KJW 10/22, WE SCAR HPA converted.
-Handguns- KWA M93R NS2,  TM 1911 (Hera Ams CPE), Marushin COP 357, KWC nighthawk 1911

-Shotguns - Marushin m500

Army R45 is a good pistol it has a few known issues which you need to fix and it is ready-to-go.

  • Replace the gas route bucking because it is to high and cause the nozzle breakage.
  • Replace the inlet valve in the magazine or use better magazines - like TM, KJ, etc.
  • It is worth to replace the nozzle, inner barrel and hopup bucking.
  • All the other parts are good in this pistol - used to use 3 of them and now I have one Army and one TM, I know what about I talk.

Shame about the Bomar Sights, not even cut into the slide.  This is supposed to be a carry / hideout gun after  not a target piece. :)
