trecam
Oh my ... my buddy sent me this link ... (docs download from the MediaFire link to the right) http://pubtalkpress.blogspot.com/ Madbull is having a Rumsfeld moment ... or maybe they knew all along ... "as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns - the ones we don't know we don't know."
uscmCorps
If the article is in fact truthful and accurate, then what BBs out there are in fact truly Biodegradable under real world conditions?
Danke
I'll put a tenner up that the blog is from a Bioval employee. We have had a few shills show up on our local site posing as regular players, and then be outed to be inside or sales staff for that company.
Wege
trecam You only seem to post about BBs... why is that?
Kraut
A blog with one post, about a 'controversy'. Very credible.
Perch
Well, Biovall BBs are very accurate BUT their 0.25 aren't biodegradable, or at least not in a short term (maybe they are, over a term of 50 Years) They 0.25 contain POM as a short test showed. As opposed, the G&G 0.2 Bio-BBs, the dark brown ones do not contain any kind of plastic. They taste like burnt wood or starch when burnt.
M0ldyM!LK
This thing has been pushed in 3 threads (2 of which are by the same author), and now people are eating biodegradable BBs? What the hell is going on?

uscmCorps
I'll put a tenner up that the blog is from a Bioval employee. That occurred to me too, but from what I've read, Bioval would be in the same boat as the rest of these would-be BioBB manufacturers. I don't think any BioBBs are made from the gen3 Bio Plastics that would fit the bill for real world bio-degradation.
Azulsky
I have never seen a bb degrade much at all. If they can sit out in my back yard through rain and 100 degree heat the whole summer then i dont know what degrades them. At most they turn brown.
Roecar
I think he means eat via bio accumulation. That means the more they "biodegrade" or are eaten by wildlife the source of the toxic plastics will eventually find their way into the food or water supply. Anything classed as "green" or "environmentally" friendly in airsoft is BS. Airsoft CANNOT ever be sustainable, we shoot 6mm bbs everywhere...
Airsoft Informer
We are in the process of formulating a list of the currently known Manufactures that are producing a “Truly Bio BB Product”. We currently don’t know the contents of the Bioval bbb but since the US Department of Natural Resources has confirmed the products approval on all DNR lands; we are accepting the US DNR letter as proof of a “True Bio BB Product” until proven other wise. We are in the process of contacting numerous BB manufactures including Bioval requesting confirmation that all ingredients in their BB’s and all byproducts of their decomposed BB product are safe, nontoxic, and inert. Through research, confidential industry sources, both US and EU published documents & patents regarding P-Life & PLA have all combined to provide the listed credible information. We have also provided down loadable copies of the document so the public may reconfirm the authors of all cited information. Definition of Biodegradable: capable of being decomposed by natural means via the action of biological agents, especially bacteria. Facts: Dead leaves are and stick’s are example of “True Bio” items; depending on the environmental conditions place on the stick and leaves respectively each one will brake down or Biodegrade at a rate proportionate to the environmental conditions place on the stick or leaves. For example a stick or leaves in a swamp with high humidity, high naturally occurring bacteria, and lots of sun light with Biodegrade faster than the same stick in the desert. Fact: Because a product is water soluble or dissolves in the environment quickly doesn’t mean it is a natural, nontoxic and/or a “True Bio Product” in contrary just because a Product does not break down in most or all environments quickly doesn’t mean that the product is not natural, nontoxic or isn’t a “True Bio Product” Conclusion: just because a “Bio BB” dissolves in water doesn’t make it a “True Bio Product” it only mean its water soluble and also bad for all guns in high humidity areas. Also a “ True Bio BB” make take as much time or more time in comparison to a stick to begin degrading our goal is assuring that when products are marked as Biodegradable in the Airsoft Industry the do not harm the environment and are safe, nontoxic, inert and “ Truly Biodegradable “. Marlowe
Let's see. Two accounts which seem to post almost entirely content of questionable nature deriding Bioval competitors... It's XSniperX with Escort all over again, isn't it? If you wish to do business, do it by extolling the virtues of your products, not libelling the products of others. Locked. Next such thread without acknowledgement of commercial bias will be a ban.
