renegadecow
It appears that Marushin will be re-releasing a couple of their older line of revolvers with the new X-cartridge shells. While these do look a whole lot prettier than the original design, I don't quite get why they're sticking to 8mm when the first X-cartridge releases were chambered to take the industry standard 6mm. But at least my prayers were answered for an X-cartridge Chiefs Special! http://www.marushin-kk.co.jp/itemm368mmkit.html http://www.marushin-kk.co.jp/item8mmpolicekit.html They also have a gas, shell ejecting Kar98k, don't know if that's a re-release too but I distinctly remember their original being a springer. Inspector
Ok, I really want one of the Chiefs Speicals!! Too bad they aren't the M60 though.
Crimson
They need to make an SAA
Pariah_WP
^WHS Also be nice if they release some 6mm love too...
swtim255
They make a SAA, it just sucks is all.
renegadecow
The SAA was released along with the M629. Both at a great price, but worlds apart in performance as reviews go. And to think that they employ the same system. I'm actually inclined to get the M629 first though, maybe wait for a silver Chiefs (M60) for later on.
ninja master of coffee
They're releasing an astra cub with a silencer?!?!?! Or is that a model kit? also, gigantic M629 classic is gigantic. Why must you tempt me so, marushin? Don't you know I have no money!!?
renegadecow
Haha! Forgot to mention the up sized M629. Lotsa new stuff on their home page so I only sifted through what shoots out bbs. Take that Tanio Koba/Marushin collaboration 1911. I was going nuts all over it until I read its a blank firer. Same goes for the Colt Jr .25/Astra Cub, single action non-firing display piece. ninja master of coffee
I sort of assumed the astra cub was non-firing model, shame but not unexpected. Wonder what kind of power the upsized M629s will be capable of? I mean, if you want a ludicrous hand cannon (and who doesn't?!) it seems like good choice!
Crimson
I mean an SAA in the new system
swtim255
The SAA uses the X Cartridge system, it just does it very poorly, Green gas FPS at 154 on the avg for a 70 degree day. And very cheap, plasticy feeling. all in all the gun is very disappointing.
kruck
Anyone have any idea when these will be released?
kruck
M60 just been released http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Marushin_Marushin_X_Cartridge_S_W_M60_8mm_2_inch.htm Although its a shame the M36 was a bit ######...
renegadecow
Woah, wait, what?!? I've been stalking the Marushin website all this time and this pops up from nowhere. And I just spent my money on the Blackhawk. edit: Come to think of it, the new Blackhawk wasn't announced at their page either.
kruck
Looks very nice, but shares the same fault as the M36 - the BB isn't held at the end of the shell. This is what caused (pretty much) all the issues on the '36. I'm sure it could be modified, however.
