canizzle
I just got this gift card for Borders and you can use it with Amazon.com. Anyways I saw this revolver by HFC: Clicky I was just wondering if this was a good gun at a good price, also I would liek to know if it uses Green Gas or not because it doesnt say. Thanks in advance. canizzle
So is HFC revolver any good?
AGuy
Looks alright. You get what you pay for. On other sights ( I don't trust amazon) it says +/- 300 fps, metal and plastic parts, one bb in each shell, gas. IF you want to spend some money then go ahead or you could save up some more and get a better gun.
canizzle
Well I only have $100 to spend on that card so might as wel. Revolvers look pretty nice with the bullet showing. I believe speedytoys said it was about 70% metal and 260 fps with .20.
Md0ggyd0g
I don't think you can pay with the gift certificate. I had a borders one once and tried to buy some video games and said I could only use it at a select lot of stores, of which I didn't see any that carried airsoft stuff. Maybe that's changed though. It was right as I was about to buy too.
canizzle
No its a card not certificate so you can put in the number behind the card online and buy the things you want.
Vengeance
I bought that same gun, except in black, a couple of months ago. External wise, its a good showpiece. In terms of performance it leaves so much to desire. Accuracy and power are shoddy, and the gun is pretty quiet when fired. In addition to that, the cylinder doesn't always line up with the barrel which causes multiple misfeeds. It makes a good wall hanger, other than that its near worthless. doopydoo
I emailed speedytoys a while ago about that exact gun. They told me it was made mostly of plastic.

Runner
Definetely not worth the money, the performance is not that great, only get it if you really nead a 6-shell revolver to play with for cheap.
otherrandomhero
Don't buy it, really. I've heard nothing but bad things about the HFC revolver series. They are horribly inaccurate, go about 40 feet, about .4j power, and are generally just a waste. The UHC spring revolver performs better IMO.
Beta
A friend of mine's experience with the HFC "Savaging Bull" has been as follows: --- I bought the gun new from a retailer at a flea market for $70 almost a full year ago. I liked the look and feel and I was interested in owning a gas airsoft revolver so for the price I figured it was worth a venture. My fist few shots were on KTC Green Gas (which I suspect is actually 134a as it is non-flammable and noticably far less powerful than propane) and .2 gram bbs. About three out of four shots fired about 40-50 feet before plummeting to the ground although occasionally it did fire very strong it was never considerably accurate. The kicker is (though I have never heard of this incident ever happening to anyone else) that the entire barrel assembly flew off when I fired it not even a week after I had bought the gun, denting a $150 guitar case pretty badly. --- Though the gun you mention here is mostly all metal, so there really shouldn't be an issue with structural integrity (I've actually held and fired this at a store, I was considering buying one myself not even two weeks ago), if you're looking for a good pistol on Amazon for under $70, look no further than this It's very accurate with crisp blowback, looks and feels great, accepts green gas just fine, and comes with a 14mm clockwise threaded outer barrel. Though if you're just looking for a Revolver to play around with you really can't go wrong with the UHC springers. There are plenty to choose from (even on Amazon) and you could get two for the price of one of the HFC models.
canizzle
Thanks guys. Maybe I just buy it for display and maybe play around with it because I always wanted a cheap, metal revolver. Revolvers look nice, especially the 357 4''.

stirallyracer
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007WE62...3656701?ie=UTF8 woah why is a KWC GBB so cheap? i thought kwc's were pretty good? what's the catch, lol EDIT nevermind it's one of those budget guns. anyways, anybody know how good the KWC "budget line" is? aznsk8s87
I've got a KWC budget P226... good with 134a. Not a good choice for greengas... tried it in mine and I just didn't like the power compared to the weight of the gun. But it stillworks pretty nicely with 134a, about... 260-280 i guess? Adj hopup, good power (310 or so), looks pretty good. The problem was that it sucks up gas like nothing else. You can get 2 magazines (12 rds each) off a fill of green. Not great, but still a fine gun for $60.
