  1. I never use the forward assist on my AR15's either. There is usually a bad reason why a round doesn't load so I skip the tap and jump right to the rack to eject the bad round...
  2. Excellent! I will try it tonight...
  3. I'm not 100% how it should work but if I lock the bolt back by flipping the charging handle up when all the way back, I can't push forward. Is that the way the forward assist works on the real AUG?
  4. Very well said. I feel victim to this exact issue when I bought a WE ACR. Mine was a complete lemon while others were experiencing zero issues. I have 11 GHK's (yes, I know...too many) and aside from minor issues that I expect from all GBBR's, they have run and held up very well.
  5. I don't agree with the majority of that opinion but that is OK...except the AUG info as I have yet to touch mine...
  6. woohoo! First real reports...
  7. This is very good information!
  8. Hmm, I don't have that experience at all. Anyone with similar experience removing the silver tube?
  9. I'm just kidding. There is just no perfect GBBR M4 as each have their problems and niggles...
  10. I'm a glutton for punishment...
  11. but no one else has though, right? maybe a casting issue on his part?
  12. In theory I agree with that, but I fear that a steel bolt stop and hop unit would lead to another issue somewhere else...
  13. so they are again making parts to fix a non-existent problem... any known problems with any of those parts? If I was going to replace the carrier, I would get a lighter version like the YSC. Something needs to be done about the bolt catch...
  14. The only thing that I regularly lubricate is the nozzle orings. I will lubricate friction points with Murder Oil but not before a game but after. The time between games gives the oil enough time to either drip away or evaporate so what is left is a small amount of lubrication that doesn't cause any function issues. I have run my GBB's hard and have dropped them in mud, loose dirt, water, etc. and have held up fine (some better than others for sure). With that said, I may not run mine as hard as Evil Dan does so we may be comparing apples to oranges.
  15. Yea, for a long while I thought we would never see a GBBR you could take into battle without having game ending stoppages.
  16. One of the things that is a con for me with the TM design is over complicating the entire action. The FCG is overly complicated as is the BCG. There was nothing wrong with the FCG of M4 GBB varriants or the way the bolt locks to the rear as long as you use heat treated steel for the engagement points OR replicate what WE/VFC do. Time will tell what comes of the TM M4 design and GBB enthusiasts are living in interesting times with all the excellent options we have now. Just 6-7 short years ago we were all living in WA/G&P GBB hell
  17. Eh, if it does stop locking back, 5 minutes with a flat file gets it locking back 100%. Reports from newer batches seems this isn't the case anymore for what it is worth. TM has issues...primarily the horrendous trigger and the fact that you have to open the mag and remove the silver tube if you want to run green gas/propane with any efficiency.
  18. Hmm, my upper fit without any issue a WE barrel nut which is milspec threading...
  19. perfect response!
  20. This thread should be REQUIRED reading for all companies attempting to make replacement parts for the P90!
  21. Right now? GHK is a better option OOTB...however, IF the aftermarket airsoft companies go crazy in support of the TM design, then it could propel to the top. Only time will tell...
