Actually, they're a pair of Watson OD Gloves. I used to use Hatch Operators, but those bit the dust within less then a year of moderate gaming. The Watsons were significantly cheaper, and appear to probably last longer, but only time will tell I guess. Note: Don't wash your gloves, this probably the reason my Hatch's died so early.

Hmmm, just didn't want to go about doing the typical, but there were also other reasons: 1. the hk body had not been released 2. when it was released, it was jacked up to $200+USD 3. generally it was new on the market, thus not many real steel ops would be using it 4. everyone including their 10 year old sisters were jumping on the "hkm4leet" bandwagon I also didn't mind the bushmaster trades, so I figured, why not.

Actually, it's to solve the problem of a front sight being in the way. Since there's a front flipup sight on the ras (moved it back) there's no need for another sight on the actual ris gas block. Seeing how there would be an empty space without it there, it's just nice to fill the hole with it. Here's a real steel one I based it off of. I wouldn't say it's pointless, but just another way of doing it.
