So in theory you can force 10 magazines down the 5 double pouches? I assume that you can insert a hard-plate in the vest also? Where is that located? Low or high?

Thanks for the info! The magazine pouches coming with the vest, do each compartment take one or two Colt magazines? (5 or 10 in total?)

Just remember that the more curved steel ak magazines are 7.62x39 in RS, and the less curved, bakelite magazines, are normally 5.45x39, the caliber that the AKS74U uses.

Somehow i feel ashamed that 3 out of my current 5 guns fits into this category...at least i have gotten rid of a few of them already and is looking to reduce my involvment even more!
