  1. Absolutely right. I meant to describe Nylon Polymer. The WE G39C is made of Nylon Polymer- as per real steel.
  2. As some else said, the real steel is made of polymer. You'll find that polymer is is not like ABS- ABS plastic is brittle and can (in relative terms) easily snap. Polymer is actually more durable that metal because you'll have difficulty denting it- I don't even think it's possibel to snap it. Metal will dent when hit without too much trouble. Monkey metal will snap. I have an Areas TAVOR which (as per real steel) is mainly polymer and I have definitely found it to be more durable than metal. The fact that WE are using Polymer as opposed to ABS will largely explain why the rifle is so
  3. Light coat of Silicone grease. That's all you need.
  4. I had the same problem with the Ready fighter nozzle. The issue seems to be with the springs on the nozzle slipping off. If you cut a small groove on each plastic bit that the spring attaches to on the nozzle, then the spring loop is latched (under tension) onto the nozzle bit-the problem should go away. It's worked for me. Good luck.
  5. Ok- sounds like a turkey However, the stock nozzle on my KSC (Japanese Version)will break if I use propane. That's the only bit I've replaced with a RF strengthened nozzle- so I guess I'm guilty of fiddling! But that's as far I go. With the hot weather in the UK at the moment, there is a much higher risk of parts failure when using propane. I've found that using the weapon on semi 99% of the time increases the life of GBB weapons. Similar to real steel in a way. If you hammer an SA80 on full auto most of the time, you will need to replace parts much much sooner than normal. TBH, the
  6. Maybe start over with a stock weapon and don't modify it- that way it won't transform into a Turkey
  7. Lost my hop-up adjust tool. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement or what size hex I should look to buy? Thanks
  8. I think I'm going to stick with 134a gas from now on! I've got the same RF Nozzle and running on propane it sounds insane! It's far far louder than a suppressed real steal MP7. I run my KSC (Japan version) MP7 on semi 90% of the time but I suspect my RF nozzle will crack like the one above. Propane might be a better choice on colder days.
  9. That's great. Thank you all for the replies. Problem sorted- hopefully!
  10. Reply to myself, yes springs need to be upgraded! Fitted the reinforced nozzle and the gun fired brilliantly until it stopped when the two cylinder return springs were CRUSHED! Does anyone know where I can buy return cylinder return springs (part 24)?
  11. I'm new to the KSC MP7 (Japanese version). I just swapped the factory nozzle for the Ready Fighter reinforced version. Am I correct in understanding that it's now OK to use propane/ Green gas? Do I need any other upgrades? I'm not looking for any performance enhancements- just want to be able to run 134a gas in summer and propane in winter. Thanks
  12. Can't you just get a suppressor adapter from ESC/ ehobbyasia and then fit on an ACM suppressor tracer unit? That's what I'm doing without any fiddling. I got an ACM suppressor tracer unit which works really well- I'm waiting on the MP7 suppressor adaptor from ESC. Have I got this wrong- is there more to it than that?
  13. A big hank you 3vi1-D4n and AirSoftNJ above- I've now ordered the Ready Fighter nozzle and looking to find the mags- anyone wanting to sell any? I've been unable to find any of the QD suppressor versions- can you please post a link to anyone selling the QD suppressors? Thanks
  14. Hi I've tried trawling through the 65 pages but lost the will to live after about 15 pages. I couldn't get the search to give me the right results so I think I just need to ask here. I'm just after which is the best replacement reinforced loading nozzle for the KSC Japanese version? I'd like to run my MP7 on green gas but I suspect I'll need to upgrade some internal parts? Also, because my KSC MP7 is system 7, does that mean I need 'System 7' specific mags or can I just get any KSC M7 GBB mag? I'm a newbie to the KSC MP7 Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  15. Understandably one can judge the whole supply of an airsoft gun by the problems of a turkey example- and turkeys have always will continue turn up. But this does not necessarily mean that the whole supply of a particular weapon are all turkeys. I have put thousands of rounds on CO2 through my SCAR and nothing has broken! What can i say. If one were to cite a consistent problem of far eastern suppliers is their inconsistent quality control. One production run will produce exquisite examples but a production run a few weeks later has a different workforce shift who are very lax about m
  16. You have got to be kidding? Can you name an airsoft weapon without problems? The WE SCAR GBB is probably the most reliable of the GBBs out there. Of course you will have problems. Personally I have two WE SCAR GBB ( TAN and Black versions) and nothing has broken on them. Don't forget that these threads are, after initial reviews, usually for people to discuss issues and poor experiences in the main. It's a good thing to hear the issues as it helps new buyers to know what to expect.
  17. Does anyone know where can I get a RS MIAD in the UK?
  18. That's not right. When I bought my WE M4 it was most definitely 100% gen 2 as it had Colt trades and re-inforced parts. It was only months later that CO2 conversion kits became available.
  19. Had problems with Propane mags- one exploded! Others leaked but ,managed to sort out eventually. The CO2 mags may leak if you don't introduce silicone oil and leave them empty- secret is to keep them lubed (introduced at CO2 gas port inside mag and at release valve) and charged with CO2. Even if they leak, it's during intiall capsule insertion- a few shots will sort it out. On the whole WE CO2 mags are more reliable- I haven't had to strip them down like the propane mags. Standard 12g CO2 capsule fits in the mag- inserted from bottom and totally concealed and self sufficient. If you'
  20. Propane in cold UK winter (and for most of the year) weather is useless. CO2 is the only way you'll get consistent performance from a GBB in UK weather- sure warm/hot days before nightfall it's OK but that's far too variable. The advantages of Propane (i.e.price and convenience) do not outweigh the disadvantages of propane use in the UK. In Florida, yes I can see that Propane advantages operate there in day and night time. I have three WE GBB rifles- CO2 all the way is the way to avoid disappointment. When using CO2 in warmer weather, you will need Gas/ FPS adjustment such as the NPAS kit
  21. My guess is you'll buy the KJW, like it initially and then realise that it sucks in cold weather (no CO2 support) and then needs a whole load of upgrades to stop it from falling apart in warm/hot weather - you'll then put it up for sale and swear by AEG's! Any Airsoft weapon has issues. A vast majority of WE M4's do not. I have three WE GBB rifles and all work great in cold (with CO2 mags) and hot weather. The achilles heal of WE GBB weapons are the mags - they need TLC but are improving.
  22. Lupin, sounds like you have a poor copy of a WE Scar. I have two genuine WE Scar rifles- a black and Tan. I also have the WE M4 GBB and your experience sounds like you have a turkey or something claiming it's a WE GBB. The GBB system (Escort or whatever) is robust, reliable, easy to maintain and tune with many kits out there. My rifles have good range, accuracy and frighten the opposition in tunnels! Of course you need to match the gas, BB weight and FPS setting with the blowback valve to suit the ambient temperature. BB weight must be over 0.3 to get accuracy. I don't use anything othe
  23. Yep, I agree. My Ares should be firing at a higher FPS for the spring I have installed. I'm certain it's some air loss due to poor air nozzle. Even Still, this rifle fires very accurately with good range- range should increase when I get a new air nozzle.
