  1. ..... Not recognising the Staffordshire Knot? *Guzzi goes to lie down in a darkened room*
  2. It is on a RIS rail bolted to the foregrip, and it the normal CA removable type Its handy for swinging the thing about!
  3. Yep, Pretty Chris, R.I.P. Im working this Saturday, sadly. I need to get back up there though...my 1yr membership has expired and I only played about 3 times in that year! Im sure I remember you now. Im just terrible with memory. I, however, am unforgettable Okay...Ive been coaxed out of me shell. Dont blame me, I know Im fat and ugly and none of these pics show anything resembling a loadout!
  4. Isnt that F&O? If so, I may have seen you. Dont recognise you though!
  5. Repost it in Gear Discussion, mate. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showforum=57 I use DPM but dont have any pics because I look hideous whatever Im wearing I shoot photographers who get too close
  6. Gadge: spot-on as always, mate I know what a stickler for detail you are, and it stands out
  7. Its an A2 so Im a bit stuck with a carry-handle mount RIS, with the L-mount that came with it. Its a G&P, identical to this: http://www.airsoftscotland.com/acatalog/GP_Aimpoint.jpg . I wouldnt want it mounted too high for airsoft. Actually, having seen this : http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b281/Zha...2dmclear0gd.gif , maybe a DMR is possible. I have a Delta cheekpiece (that I need to repair!) and a Colt 4x20 carry-handle mount scope...just that my barrel is longer (there are companies who make 24" for real steel rifles). Or, I could always change between roles depending on
  8. True. I was planning to DMR, but its too unwieldy! Itll be more support in the sense that an L86 is. I just bought an Aimpoint replica. Methinx that would be more suitable for such a role Thanks for the constructive comments!
  9. Well, until someone makes a proper M16 LMG fore-end available, this will have to do me... 24" barrel, 590mm inner barrel. And I need to get that barrel extension scratched up to match the rest of it. Gaming on Sunday, I was looking all over the place for rusty railings to scrape it along and knock it on to weather it The small addition of the extra barrel and the extra weight of the RIS bipod adapter sure makes it unwieldy, but thats sorta what Im looking for...an LMG isnt supposed to be light and agile. And the Prometheus 6.03 tightbore seems to make a huge addition to short/med
  10. You've Wii'd on your monitor? Some people have odd habits...
  11. Umm...heh. Its not quite the Iraq Supergun I meant 112cm, of course Same as my waistline measurement :'(
  12. 1012cm - not that bad, really! Ironically, it was M14 barrel length envy that gave me the idea I thought I had a big gun, till I used a friends KART M14 and though...ooooh. Ill probably LMG it...I like LMGs
  13. *Cue evil giggling* I had to do it...the devil made me. --- Okay...so I broked my front sight, tightening the grub screw up. The King Arms PRI flip-up I have doesnt have a bayonet lug, and I dont want to replace the sight with an original, only to have the same sight wobble that I had in the first place. So to mount a bipod, Ive have to add an RIS rail. Then I though, if Im going to HBAR my M15a2, I may as well go all-out and put on a barrel extension to make it a 24". Not sure yet whether Im going to take it Delta sniper or LMG. I dont even think a 590mm inner barrel will
  14. Yup. I have a plastic mock M11 silencer for the task. It looks especially horrid with that flat-bottom barrel tube.
  15. Not a Patriot 4.8" barrel is even shorter than a Patriot! And thanks for point #1...thats more like what I was expecting. I feel better now! (and yes, I know you were joking ).
  16. Thats odd, but really nice. What is it? I love the extending stock and the grip front. BTW: Im really pleasantly shocked that noone blasted me for the M4a1 Warder chop-shop. I was expecting to get hassle for that! Nice to see that Armalite owners arent as anal as some other folks
  17. Funny enough, just after I posted those pics my dad came in and we had a conversation like this: Dad: "That looks *fruitcage*ing hideous! Why is that tube on the back? Me: "Um...realism? On the real thing, the recoil buffer is in there." Dad: "I helped you with that thing, and Im not putting my name to it with that huge knob out the back. Get rid! Me: "Okay, dad!" Heres the result. One pic alone, and a pic of the family: Edit: Batou-san is right, the battery is in the readymag. I need to deactivate that thing's eject button as it makes the mag release hard to press.
  18. *Guzzi prepares to be stoned to death* Ok, I admit, theres some beautification work to be done. And Im peeved that the Dboys M4 donor gun has a cut-out barrel which makes it look worse. I need a front sight (RIS flip-up on order). But I dont care...this is a gun for gaming, not for looks.
  19. As a gun, it seems solid. Just that the gearbox removal thing is little less than IQ-reducing. Its not TM quality. But for £67 shipped, Im not shocked!
  20. Forget my troubles with getting the gun...down to the gun! Please dont ask for pics. My camera is dead and I aint buying a new one. So, I get the parcel. Open it. Hmm, now Im confused. Theres a pic of a tac sling on an otherwise all black box marked SOC. Ahh, the D-boys name is on the end tab. Says 7mm bearings on the box. Interesting. So, I open it up. I knew this gun wouldnt be anything like the quality of the CA's I have, but its not bad at all. Only bad part I can tell right now is the stock. It is VERY flimsy and ikky. Not a problem for me, Im chop-shopping th

  22. Rightio, will do, thanks Apologies for putting this in general...I figured noone would see it in Site Errors... Thanks for moving it and leaving a crosslink in General.
  23. Im not, and not pretending to be just posting a polite notice. If I was a Mod, Id just rearrange their userbars so they were in a nice neat vertical line which they should be in the first place!
