  1. Yup, quite a few guys from MulticamAddict are going along, i'm going along in kit with my mate...promoting the website as well as Multicam in general.
  2. Well...I was planning to dump my DDPM loadout completely in possible favour of an UKSF-style loadout, but walked in to work to see one of our regulars in there who has been out in A-stan (in the TA), holding a large, shrink wrapped parcel. My excitement rose to find a brand new CQC Load Carrying Tactical Vest, with everything - and he had brought it back for me! £50 later, it was mine. From some initial impressions and wearing, it seems amazing. Well made and well designed - Is this the same company who did the Osprey Armour covers? This stuff seems a ton better. Still a tad bulky over t
  3. Nice 1st Line there. PC's rock, but I have to say a nice set of web gear wouldn't go amiss.
  4. Just out of curiosity, I take it you have MM's permission to use his photos?
  5. QUOTE (hugh_b @ Jun 21 2008, 07:30 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Looking better with the propper shirt to match the trousers i think <PICTURE> Hugh you look 10x better already. It's surprising when you find out what "makes" the loadout. The OD 1st/2nd Line actually isn't that bad, however once/if you get the OPS Low-Profile Chest Rig it will be the makings of a stong recce/light-weight loadout. As others have said it requires *probably* a Shooter's Cap, or possibly a boonie, but that's down to personal choice. On a more worrying note, I spent $200-ish on Multicam pouches
  6. I would have thought a Medium...I'm slightly shorter with a stockier build and a large fits me quite nicely. I generally say that softshells want to be reasonably more well-fitting than your average jacket/raincoat/etc. No idea when they're coming in.
  7. Arn't too many?! Add: DBT, Emdom, Arc'teryx, SOtech, Kifaru, ICE, DD (not around now), Tru-Spec, Propper, Blackhawk, CRYE?!, OPS, EssTac, HSS, STS, CSM, Seals Action Gear, HSGI, Dropzone, Camelbak, SKD, OnPatrol, Warrior...to name but a few! Thankfully MC has never been so avaliable to the general consumer! Picture to prevent spam-age: Taken by me at last skirmish of my team-mate. Excuse his terrible long hair.
  8. I should ban you from the Multicamaddict forum instantly for that comment, Kliskey...you should know better. Buy Propper if you're on a budget, it's so damn cheap in the US anyway, and is excellent quality. Don't bother wasting your money on replica. Please.
  9. Ooo harro MC RICAS...looking good. Looks like you could use some plates for it. Random MC Pic of the day:
  10. Unfortunately Condor also fail to do quality checks on the width of the MOLLE loops, and as such on my old Condor PC it was actually impossible to mount pouches on the loops, although this problem occured particularly near the edges. Otherwise as Eizen said, they arn't so bad.
  11. Well that's good news! And yes, I have the problem with the zip-flap thingy aswell.
  12. Glad that everyone is finding them as great as I find mine. Anyone still considering buying one, go for it as they are amazing value for money.
  13. Time to switch my 1 Royal Anglian loadout to UKSF.
  14. Yar, it is the Ebaybanned one. I love it (apart from the hood) and its actually alot more breathable than I thought, and opening all the vents creates a lovely through-breeze.
  15. Did a mini-photoshoot around the farm with a team mate yesterday for a bit of fun got some pics obviously! Kitlist - Buzzsaw -Crye Precision Multicam Shooters Cap -TAD Stealth-hoodie ME Brown replica -OPS Combat Pants + Pads -Oakley SI tan gloves -Tracpac Desert Patrol Boots -Condor Plate Carrier -X4 OnPatrol M4 shingles -OnPatrol Hydration pouch -M4 CQB/SD w/Aimpoint -Silver Land Rover Defender
  16. It looks like EbayBanned screwed my order then, as if you check the website, the Softshell with the hood as i've got has now be put up (for about £2 extra ).
  17. Yeah, ordered that exact item and got the hoodie...would have prefered the normal jacket! Still a decent bit of kit though.
  18. Yes guys, it's the Fourstar 'Tactical Softshell', as they call it on the website. The size is large, being relitavely short myself, the length is absolutely perfect...although it's pretty tight fitting as the photo shows! EDIT: My bad, it says its based on the V4.0 on EbayBanned...wierdly enough, the photos on there don't show the hood, either. :S
  19. Before I begin... *NOTE - I DO NOT OWN A REAL TAD GEAR HOODIE, SO I CANNOT COMPARE LIKE FOR LIKE!* Alright, let's get started on this tasty piece of kit. As a 17-year old student, it's fairly obvious to say that I don't have $260 to burn on TAD's own serious bit of gear. I've got a bit of a thing for softshells, and when the Stealth hoodie V3.0 replica turned on EbayBanned for the princely price of £40-odd and free shipping, there was no way I could resist! Initial Impressions The attention to detail on the hoodie is probably what grabs you the most. Auth
  20. Don't get me wrong, it's served me well also...hmmm well we'll see, I just like the look of the Warrior RICAS in MC!
  21. I still believe in Condor for their well-priced and decently designed kit, although it can't stand up to the bigger names. My Condor PC has been great, but I will be looking to change it soon for something a bit more 'up-market', so to speak. Not posted any pics in ages (and need an excuse to use my new camera!), so here is my incredibly un-loaded Condor PC, in desperate need of further pouches!
  22. Talking about Gen 2 chassis...? I don't think I ever posted this one up: (Story of the Gen 2 Chassis)
  23. Niceeee Klisky. Stuff something in that MAP though!!
