Why? i don't see anything wrong with that... Anyone thinking of upgrading the valve can consider modifying your stock valve. Use a dremel and widen the opening. Be carefull tho, make sure you don't damage it instead. I did it to my WA mag, it adds a tiny bit of improvement. I agree, its a waste of money to buy one.

My Marsoc has the same plug. Same thing with my MEUSOC. I think WA was trying to add some weight to the front of the gun.

Well in that case guns and ammo magazine would be incorrect to feature a "2011" STI in their "The complete book of 1911" edition?? It doesn't matter to me what anyone wants to call it, but there are just too many misleading information here lately. Stating opinions as facts bugs me.

Dude, Infinity (SVI) STI, paraordnance styled guns are all considered 1911. 2011 is a patented name STI use for their frame. Not even Infinity(SVI) are technically allowed to be called a 2011.

The finish on mine looks fine. Its not exactly black tho, it's grayish, not much different than the stock plastic frame/slide. Maybe the inconsistency that you saw in those pic are due to oil or dirt.

I guess its pretty much normal and straight forward. The only weird thing is the little screw that tightens the metal rail into the right side of the inner slide doesn't seem to want to go in fully.

ZEKE Metal receiver for my S-System, and Stars pistol grip. Can't seem to get the pin above the grip to fit right now, get to it later Sorry for the pic exposure

Slide and frame is ABS, except its barrel. Chamber is obviously plastic too. It doesnt have metal lower receiver like most infinity coz its a single stacker.
