  1. Ok, well I am finding that I still have a small problem with my G39. I have swapped out the hop rubber and nub (I also used the black one), and my shot to shot consistency is awesome, as well as the range. I can happily use .2g bbs without an issue of under or overhop due to the hop setting. This is all great. I think that my problem lies with the magazines. What is happening, occasionally I will pop a fresh magazine in the gun and chamber the first round as per usual. The problem is when I fire it. Shot after shot consistantly dropping sharply (Very sharply) after about 10 yards. T
  2. Would that be this linky? http://www.intrudershop.com/mmc/aug/WEG36C/G36BULLET-V3.pdf I dont have the fronts or backs though.
  3. No, they dont. The simple answer is that only the System7 or NS2 mags will work. You should find that these are made only by KSC, KWA, and ASG. The differences between the old style mags and the new ones with KSC is that the old style has a different gas escape section on the top, different feed lips, different bb track, different mag catch locator on some models, and of course, different internals. The blowback unit on system7/ns2 is completely different from the older system, there is a picture somewhere online which showed the two side by side, but I cant remember where it was. Th
  4. To manually lock the bolt back, there is no majic button to press, as the buttons should all function as a bolt release. You can however, do it by simply pushing your finger up inside the magazine well and pushing up on the little nub that the empty mag pushes up (look on the mag to see where the position is) whilst cocking the gun. It will then lock back. Also, I have had problems with my hop using all sorts of different ammo and different weights. I have given up trying to keep the gun stock and have no replaced the hop rubber and hop nub for a H nub as per the linky above. The only
  5. A decent gun is like a decent woman, it needs to have some abuse but at the end of the day you still love it and want to play with it!
  6. I do fully intend to replace the hop rubber in the all too soon future, as I am still having issues every so often with the bbs not going anywhere near as far as they should, and just plummetting earthbound. I shall probably take your advice about a promethius/nineball vsr one. The only trouble is that this will be a purchase I make with other stuff, so I am restricted as to how soon I can order, but hopefully within the next couple of weeks. I am not 100% confident about messing with the hop, as this is the only part that really is the same as on an aeg etc. and that is where I have proble
  7. I had a few issues with mine running .28 bbs, without any modification to the hop etc. I was finding that every so often the bbs would just plummet downwards as the hop was fully off. I have just tried .4s this weekend and turned the hop up to accomodate. The result is well happy. I still need to put a good 1000 rounds or so through it to bed the hop in, but so far so good. It certainly does just work right out of the box, with the hop being really the only issue that it seems to have, and that is only if you are using the lighter ammo. I assume that this might be something to do with the
  8. With regaurds to the full auto firing problem, I must admit that this is the first time I recall seeing that mentioned, but if you are using 134a then I would say that is your problem. That doenst explain why it would still work in your other gun. From the look of the video the second shot does not recoil far enough to recock the hammer properly, so maybe it is not engaging the sear correctly, I dont know, I am only speculating. It also seems to do the same 'short stroke' in semi mode. Does it still fire the second shot? Have you tried running it through a chrono to see what difference po
  9. MP5! Well, I will have to just wait and not get this yet then, as the race must surely be on between VFC and WE to get the MP5 out first, as last I heard WE were hoping to have thiers out around the end of 2010. I will still more than likely buy one of these now, as I am somewhat of a H&K ho, but I love the MP5 most.
  10. Well, it has been a while scince I wrote this review, and it is really long overdue to update how this gun has peformed and whether it still works etc. Well, I have to say that this gun wins hands down as the best pistol that I own, and I do own a few. I do not say this lightly either, but the proof would have to be the fact that I still use this gun as my primary sidearm, and have had no parts fail or have to replace anything. One thing has changed however from my original review. I do now only have one more pistol to replace with system 7, which is something that I said I wouldnt r
  11. In response to the army code body, I used to have one, it certainly is a plastic rather than metal, and I am pretty certain from what I remember about the way that it fitted that it will not fit. The other thing about it is that the trades are no longer like that, and it says BmbH instead of GmbH, but that is a minor point, anything was better than that silly 'electric air gun' phase manufacturers went through. If you plan to get it engraved and want me to send you reference pictures then I can, as I am going to get mine done soon, so have a load ready! It is a shame that the army code char
  12. That was the third mag used in full auto to get that much gas plume, which was intentionally the idea for the photo to look cooler . I didnt notice it doing that much under normal useage, but will look closer next time that I use it and maybe make that mod.
  13. Ok, I have a nice action shot of my WE G36, well, I like it anyway. Obviously I didnt take the picture (so many thanks to Nelly The Jelly for that, great pics! ) as I am the fat ugly guy in it. Hope you guys like it. I recon that this picture just sums up what I like about having gas!
  14. Ok, here are the pictures that I promised (you will have to excuse the fat ugly bloke that manage to squezze his way into the frame, as that is me!).... Dont ask me the temperature was as I have no idea, but it was cold and damp, and this was near the end of the day. I am not sure of the brand of bb that I was using, as I was trying different weights to see what I like better/what hurts more when I shoot people . As the jams that I experienced happened in all three mags, and a few times I dribbled the bb out of the end I would imagine that it is down to the brand of bb, but m
  15. Ok, first skirmish that I have had with my gun, and I have had a few issues. The first is that I find the mags tricky to reload. Not the biggest issue in the world, but I do not like those tube loaders that come with the gun, and reloading can sometimes be very time consuming. That is the first thing. The second was that out of the three mags that I was using, they were getting quite a few problems with jams, probably down to needing to be used a few times, but still an issue that concerns me for future use. The third issue was that on a few occasions I got a double feed, meaning that it
  16. The CA part might fit, but it will not work properly. The handle has an elongated hole which is a little like a clip fastener, so you can pull the paddle out to whichever side, and then push the paddle toward the opposite side of the gun and it will lock into place. The CA is just a pin through a hole, so it will not push or move at all once it is in, so it will always return to the centre position no matter what you do. You could try using the part from the Ares/Umarex gun, as that is similar so that might work. I also have swapped the buttplate off of a CA gun to give me the correct r
  17. Yes, I have that, but I meant that the inner casting would be slightly rippled to look as if there were bullets there, so that the light catches them differently at different angles. The pictures are ok, and I recon that it is a great idea and excellent that people are prepared to take the time and trouble to do that for everyone. I didnt think that it would be realistic to do dummy bullets in a gas mag, but as the gas is enough to last for 3 mags or so according to people who have had the chance to fire theirs (I cant firemine until tomorrow, the suspense is killing me!), I know that it is
  18. That is typical, after Christmas when I dont have the spare monies! (Unless anyone feels nice and wants to buy me a belated present!!). I also know someone else who wants to get the stock from that gun, and as the gun is hard to find at the moment it seems, I would assume that the stocks are near impossible (it is the stock, and what everyone has had to say about how good the gun is that has warmed me to it, although I do still resent Umarex ruining the trades for me and making the consumer pay for the privalidge!) to find, unless anybody has a link to somewhere I can get one. Or, better yet
  19. My original WE sticker was a little bit lifted in places, but I am not complaining, as for me that was a plus point. It stayed on the gun for about 2 minutes, only because I had to remove the little 'made in...' sticker on the grip first! One thing that I was surprised at was that mine came with the protective film still on the sticker, giving it a really shiny and poorly applied kind of look, I was surprised at that, not that I think that was bad, but just that I wasnt expecting it. There may be other people out there who dont realise that the WE 'sticker' has a protective film over the to
  20. Well, I broke mine on Sunday. Got a jam in the barrel which I didnt notice soon enough and it snapped the spring that pulls the plastic piece forward that moves the nozzle (I cant remember the part name as alcohol has weakened me! ), but talk about good/bad stripping. It is really good in one sense as it all pulls apart really easy, version 3 gearbox, so depending on what has broken and how far down you need to strip the gun depends on how good/bad it is. For your usual things like power upgrade or downgrade it is awesome, and as fingers crossed this is the only thing that you would norma
  21. Thanks for that linky, now bookmarked for future use.
  22. Does anyone know when this gun will hit the UK, or anywhere else other than Germany? I have looked for the landwarrior website but cant seem to find it, and I have not seen it on any of the other websites which I frequent. Despite those aweful Umarex trades, I have heard really good things about this actual gun and it has got me interested in one, depending on the price and availability of course. It would also have to be full auto as well, unlike the German version.
  23. That would be awesome if you could find out, I have a place local to me who is happy to work on guns, so I will get them to do it for me, just helps to have as much info as possible to ensure that something doesnt go wrong and it ruins my body!! Shame that your mate doesnt do a travelling service, after people see how good it looks I bet that they will all be getting it done now if they can, he could clean up!!!! I am only speculating, but I recon that I wont get much change in the UK having that done from about £50 or £60, but for me that would be well worth the money spent to get it right.
  24. Sorry, no, I was refferring to a few pages back (page 11) where Break100 had the trademarks etched onto the gun. They look awesome, and as such I have to get my gun done the same (or similar, depending on how the real gun should be, once mine arrives that is!). For me airsoft is about making it as realistic as possible without hurting anybody, and that would include the engraving on the gun. It is not the be all and end all, but I would be happier if it was as perfect as possible rather than just acceptable.
  25. Wow, thanks for all the information. I now know what the correct trades are, in the box on the left hand side as pictured above, then on the right hand side there is the Warning towards the rear, then under the ejection port is 'Heckler & Koch Gmbh / Made In Germany' and then 'Heckler & Koch Inc. / Sterling VA' at the furthest most point. I really loved those engraved trades, I have to get them done on mine when I get it, but I do still have a couple of questions reguarding them. Do you know at what strength the laser was set, or how many passes it required to get that finish, it
