  1. Sweet, I only would suggest to think about more quality looking grips. They're ok, but wooden grips would suit your nice piece better I think.
  2. Nice, but be careful with such big silencers … this one is a prettey big one, looks quite heavy, hope not metal. I heared the Browning system seems to have quite problems with off balanced weight in long term. I use the TK silencer which is specificly designed to suit GBBs, especially 1911s.
  3. Well, very nice basis … I'm more of a pure guy. But Vickers kit looks awesome. Worth to consider. Kimber is fine, too, but I like the plain classic grips not those weirdo shaped once (I had one of these weirdo grips purchased by mistake, thought they were the straight classical ones). Straight, the Kimber looks like this:
  4. You have too much money, right? Very nice … hope, those Wilson V12 Gilded are not metal kit upgraded …
  5. Damn it, that's my kind of gun … you have a big fan, Elvis …
  6. eel one, I like your 4" S&W. Wanted to have one myself, but didn't had a chance to get my hands on one around here. Only the grips … well, a matter of taste. I'd prefer the red checkered wood grips on it. Nice SA 1911, 1st shooter, I'm looking foreward to get such a metal kit myself. I'd only change to another silencer if I was you. Outfit looks cool, what sidearm are you carrying in your holster? Sig, Beretta?
  7. If you're talking Marui then the Hicapa slides also work for the 1911A1 version. You only need a little expange part by TK. That's it. And by the way the slide is a copy of Goldmatch Ten II for Hicapa BoMar sight … no Kimber Novak sight.
  8. Well … after posting this picture I got the point of fal … it's kind a tricky. I thought this spare holes could support application of lubricants to release the bushing in case it was stuck. Or reduction of material. But now I see the left hole is exactly there where the nodge should be. If the nogde is directly placed above the hole I don't know if it rests correctly. But it should. Only the ancle of drop in/out seems to be different.
  9. What brand is the trigger? KM?
  10. Nice loadout and proper pistol. But better improve your stance. Have a look on the others handling their gun, for example on the pictures of Black Dog. There are different ways to execute your handgun … maybe have a closer look on that, it will not only improve the look but also your skills in action. It looks like you have a 1911 MEU pistol old version. Nice one. I'm looking for one, too.
  11. Damn it … yours? That's the value of a good second hand car, what you have photographed there. Really nice custom work. I only realized a few months ago that those custum Infinity Tiki sets exist.
  12. Uh, very nice shot, pal. That's the way I like it very much. Guess, a KM trigger, Springfield Match Trigger style, very cute, and the Commander hammer on this thing makes me a great fan of yours … you have style. A flat mainspring housing and it is a very nice piece. But Thumb safety doesn't work properly, right? The pin on the right side of the frame … I tried the Hicapa safety on my Marui 1911A1, too And how did you manage to get the edges of the frame worked of so that you can fit the beavertail? Nice craftmanship. Was the KM commander hammer easy to install (it says "minor
  13. Nice, but what kind of Kimber is it? Doesn't match the models I know. I guess, aftermarket metal slide, and if the frame is aftermarket, too, than it should explain my confusion. Marsoc and Warrior come with the Novak sight, you have installed. But they both feature rail. WA offer the TLE Custom II in both versions … witch rails and without rail, but the TLEs come with this special shaped Kimber sights. But do me a favour and get some serious grips for your beautiful Kimber piece, not the crappy old school 1911A1 grips. Otherwise very nice.
  14. Well, only the pistol stance is looking a bit weired. You wouldn't do that distance with a GBB or even a real .45 Mk23. Unnatural position anyway. But has certain posing style to it. With NBB I guess it's ok Nice outfit, maybe Safariland or something (expensive, I know ) …
  15. Nice, did you have to "improve" yourself or did the better position automatically come with the metal frame?
  16. Ok, thanks. A mixed bag so to say.
  17. Interesting one … is kind of a niche model within the 1911s, like the Sig GSR, that has something own to it, too. How does the KSC M945 perform? Read good points and negative points on it.
  18. Yeah, pretty close, the closest I've seen so far. Boom Arms seems to push quite a bit with new products. I'll have an eye on that. Thanks . @ GrimGram: Detonics is pretty small … well, short is the better word. In a male's hand the grip only covers hardly half of palm. The only issue I didn't buy it yet (hands too big ). It is a perfect concealed carry gun. Sorry I can't offer pictures.
  19. It would be nice to have Springfield grips with a Springfield Armory 1911 G.I., Milspec, Operator, TRP. Marushin has a close Operator copy, but missing the SA company markings and lacking the finish quality what I see from several pictures so far. But when they arrive around here, I'll have a closer look. But I don't know of a aftermarket slide and frame kit that makes exactly the look of this Operator. PGC oder Prime has the version with quare trigger guard. But if there's a kit out there exactly as the picture posted above, I'd be interested to know
  20. Damn sexy. I'll focus on such a thing, too.
  21. Damn it, if you ever have a malfunktion with your light and it is not working anymore, tell me … I'll take your Surefire 310R.
  22. Great Detonics. A pitty the grip is so short. Had it in hands, but I couldn't use it properly. Otherwise it would have been a great choice. Damn nice hammer on that Delta. Don't like what'S happening on the front, as I am more of a purist … but the grips and the commander hammer with beavertail is really hot. Envy.
  23. Well, I would say: FBI Trial model slide on a Protector frame. Hammer is the same, but FBI Trial has ambidextrous savety. A mixed bag. But if the slide was just put completely on the frame with gas zylinder and all the other stuff, it technically „should“ be a SCW2 FBI trial … with some custom elements But definitely not out of the box. Edit: As I read the description of the FBI Trial Mix in the linked document there was mentioned: „comes with silver outer barrel“. On the original WA FBI Trial barrel and chamber are black! So here some custom, too. Seems to be two pistols mixed in one.
  24. Jo, pal, just look around the picture a little bit and you'll find the answer to your question … a bit tiny but there
  25. Well, that's a point. I still miss the hammer tough … and I very well know about the problem … my 1911 bites me a lot, thoug I like her
