  1. Mm. It's exactly the same in the UK but most site opperators turn a blind eye, so that folk can enjoy themselves. Ie, it is illegal to throw 'fireworks' (pyro), or shoot at some one with an 'air rifle' (single shot airsoft gun over 380fps). Greg. Greg.
  2. I kinda get the feeling that the GR20 & Dyno are both in the same boat here. Sites normally say anything goes or you can only use the ones you buy from us. Currently First & only allow Dynos but not GR20's. Apparently they are awaiting some sort of data safety sheet. Some sites allow dynos & Gr20's etc but only with loads equivilent to MK5's, ie 9mills. Which sites don't specifically allow Dynos? Greg.
  3. Actually, the Dyno, is currently more flexible than the GR20. You can get adapters to allow the use of .22 primers, fairly quiet, like a thermo or mk3, 9mm blanks, equivalent to a mk5(120db), or shotgun blanks, equivalent to a mk9 (180db). But, you can't vary the fuse time, or load multi bangs or smokes. For the Gr20 there are currently a fair amount of 'loads' that are manufactured but not currently, generally available to airsofters in the UK. Currently we can only officially get the 2 second 120db mk5. I am aware of 180db mk9's, Mk7's, 'screaches', 'screech to bangs
  4. It will be a shame, if the only reason it takes off, is because the bfg becomes hard to run. It should be able to do well, just because, as you say, it is excellent, in it's own right. It's a realistic looking device, allowing you to, 'pull pin/spoon' deploy, a disposable pyro. It also allows flexibility & a choice of pyro but this has yet to be capitalised on. I have no idea why it isn't catching on. I would have more, if the triple bang or smokes became available. There is even a choice of decibel & fuse length, although current suppliers have decided not to make these available
  5. It weighs less than a bfg! It looks & is very solid but the end caps are alloy. The steel cage, as You can see, is drilled & the top piece is a durable plastic. Charges are car board & weigh next to nothing. I just weighed mine, loaded, with pin & spoon, 245g, 8.6oz. About two more ounces could be removed by machining the ends & drilling even more holes in the cage. This is really not worth it though as it is light enough. I wrapped a thin layer of 2mm thick draft excluder & insulating tape around the end caps on mine, for further protection, but tbh it'
  6. What ever floats your boat. I just used a 3" length of 70lbs breaking strain dynema I had knocking about in my fishing kit. Drilled a 1mm hole in the spoon by the top & tied it to the plastic top piece. It hasn't failed in over 60 throws. I can thoroughly recommend the GR20, having used it for over 75 chucks, in all conditions over the last few months. I have had one percussion cap failure & 1 'noise unit' fail to detonate. Both were replaced free of charge. Loading time is now super quick & second nature, less than 30 seconds, tool less, in the field. Run
  7. Agreed. How long is it? Does this mean I can finally install that 350mm barrel & turn mine into a 500fps sniper? Greg.
  8. So, where do you get 'ap' bb's from? Greg.
  9. The TN head 6.04 93R auto barrel available at WGC is 200mm long & is just shrouded by the original flash hider. It does need some work to fit the Mp7. Several notches must be cut/filed into the barrel, at the hop end. Greg.
  10. Yeah, the answering of the phone is poor but persistance usually gives good results. I assume end of the month means end of March, not end of Feb? Any idea of cost? Greg.
  11. I have found that the guarder & 5.11 pouches I have are both ok. The mag is 'long' if (from front to back of the cartridge) but not too wide. So, although it 'looks' big, it's volume isn't so big that it wont fit cordura pouches, that will take a double stack .45 (hicappa) mag. Greg.
  12. Yup, I think it has appeared here & in the news section. Waste of money imo. That's the spirit, I love mine to bits. Greg.
  13. But you haven't. Unless yours shoots ap bb's . Greg.
  14. Shame. I noticed they have a tendency to bind, so give them a little silicon from time to time. Is a replacement as easy & cheap to source as we have been led to believe? On the .8 delays, I was not aware we were getting those. Where did you here this? When & from where, will they be available? Greg.
  15. That's because he's about 5 & knows no better. What's your excuse? Greg.
  16. The only Gas Mp7 that has reported broken nozzles is the KSC Jap. The nozzle on this one was made with a thinner side wall, is not compatible with the rest & blows after use with green. The Ready fighter nozzle is made to replace this nozzle only & due to the thinner walls, will not fit the others. The others have thicker side walls on the nozzle, with a smaller diameter cup & are not blowing. I am using Guarder HPM .28's. I am getting 12" groups at 50m. Hop adjusted correctly, a flat trajectory to about 60m. No misfeeds. I am currently using a 6.04x200mm tn bar
  17. Penetrating oil & Impact driver? Greg.
  18. It looks like a replacement for part 30, the cup holder. It will add weight to the blow back assembly, which will give the gun a harder kick. In theory, it will delay the blow back slightly, which will force more gas into the barrel. This could raise fps. It probably wont, as the barrel is short & the bb will have left it, before the extra gas has a chance to have any effect. It will also lower the rof on full auto. Greg.
  19. These bolts do seem to go, a bit randomly. I was doing Galactica's, KWA, when the bolt sheared & I put very little pressure on it, compared with the others, that came out without any problems. I believe Den Trinity & WGC are worth a try, they will probably have the springs too. Galactica is right, make sure you cut a proper groove in the spring retainers on the nozzle. Otherwise you will lose another spring. & you have not got an expensive weight. Sorting that lot is a 10 minute job that will cost less than £20, giving you one of the best locap guns in airsoft.
  20. Great news. Thanks. Greg.
  21. What was the temperature & how does that compare to the stock barrel? Greg.
  22. Erm, I'm not experiencing 'hooking' or 'unpredictable hop at 25m'. In fact, I'm getting really good flat trajectory out to 50 or 60m, with 1 foot groups (using guarder hpm .28's, chrono around 320 fps with a .2). Which I think is pretty good. Can you quantify how much improvement is made by this mod. I've seen one go, in a kwa. I was taking it apart & it just crumbled, no pressure at all. Greg.
