as far as I remember they never recalled any. they didn't sell so well, along with the 551, as the programmable burst chip had a tendency to break. I thought the RS upper receiver cover was too short for AEG based guns. The new AK 12 looks really good. The inner barrel has more twist to improve accuracy, the rear sight looks like it can be removed from the top rail, it comes in different calibres, the upper receiver cover looks to be fixed and not loose like the ones now so optics will stay zero'd. I'm not sure whats going on with the flash hider as the original 74 one was just the right length before rounds started hitting the end of it. the new one looks longer so it will be interesting to find out why. nothing fancy on the outside but inside there's an eagle6 spring and nine ball tightbore which gives it a nice 305FPS with a 11 ROF. I've modded the battery connections as well to accept a 7.4v lipo.

RS SVD Serial 3878 at the top, RS serial 198 in the middle and a AtoZ SVD. the top SVD was bought cheaply as the gearbox shell had cracked and the woode stock was split. I acquired a new GB shell and repaired the stock. I revarnished the stock and foregrip and completely guted the AEG to get it back to it's former glory. turned out quite nice I think

I'll stick this in here. its the very rare TM G3A4 - completely stock and in A1 condition.

yeah it's a nice rifle and the blowback system is a good design. Shame I got the name wrong in the pictures I wouldn't mind finding a scope mount for it now.

it's a vital 2 but I can't remember who makes it. it's one of the better quality ones out there and oh stay well clear of the new VFC LLM as it's completely pants. I'm awaiting an element one and hopefully it's better than the VFC one. just googled the vital 2 and it's made by hurricane.

picked both up in Afghan. the scope mount is similar to the old TM one but different. seen a few mounted on real Famas's recently.

anyone had problems with the ACM flash hiders fitting the star L85A2? I've got a + and a - and neither fit. the barrel is too fat to fit into the hole where the threads are on the flash hider

looks very good. if only someone would make a realistic wooden pistol grip!

i've got four with more on the way. the one in the picture is missing a bolt but the others are complete and brand new!

here's something you don't see everyday.... it's a RIS rail for the front lower of a FAMAS.

nice Viper, that's the 2nd one I have ever seen. The flash hider sure makes it front heavy!
