  1. I thought I would stick up some pictures for a comparison between the CA, STAR and A&K M249 series AEG's. Here's a picture of all three. The Para is a STAR, the MK1 is Classic Army and the MK2 is A&K. front view of each type: All 3 gearbox's: The CA and A&K barrels and Hop ups: The rear sights on the CA and A&K: And lastly the A&K stock: If anyone wants any specific pictures i will try to help out.
  2. some of the kits on rsov.com are ok. if you can be bothered you can sand the finish off and re-apply yourself to get a better match to the real thing. The Inokatsu wood kits are completely the wrong colour. they are brown whereas most RS Ak's I have messed about with (50 or 60) are more red/brown. even the colour of the VFC is wrong and too glossy. The beauty of the VFC or the Inokatsu ak's is that you can get RS furniture and it fits right away. on another note the majority of RS Ak's are actually AKM's however there isn't a cheap AEG version. most are based on the original AK47 whic
  3. I agree with the above steel mags would look better in your AK.
  4. Mag Midcaps. 10 in total and all feed fine.
  5. its a bushmaster one. the rear sight is on backwards as I was messing about with a elkan and stuck the real sight back on for the pic. and i'm also an idiot
  6. you should see the rest of the collection..they look like they have been run over with a tank
  7. time to update: two VFC AKS74UN VFC AKS74 Inokatsu AIMS Inokatsu AKM Guarder RPK Guarder AKS74MN airsoft RPG
  8. This is a bit of a work in progress but I thought I would show a couple of pictures so far.
  9. nice looking ak mate. how easy is it to fit the ACM stock to the receiver?
  10. star it is. just added the lsw and the short 1 as well to the collection
  11. Nice review once again far east. I have the star also and i might get one of these just for the hell of it unless they manage to bring out a LSW just on another note about the mag release. the original L85 didn't have the guard around the mag release and all rifles where recalled to have it fitted. The L85A1 did have the guard and I noticed a big difference when using both versions because with the guard installed I didn't have to trek back 100 meters to go and pick up my magazine I wonder if the issue insect repellant melts the plastic just like the real thing ?
  12. well the rubbish british weather has forced me in doors and low and behold I found some kyrlon.
  13. It's a TM so i imagine the gearbox can take a bit of tinkering. Who knows it might be able to get somewhere near 300 FPs with the right treatment. failing that..don't fire until you see the whites of there eyes
  14. The scorpion also comes with a little RIs rail and once attached to the bottom of the receiver with the supplied screw and allen key allows for all sorts of bits to be bolted on. The barrel extension allows for any -14MM silencer to be fitted. All you have to do is unscrew the original outer barrel and screw on the adapter. Then it's just a case of screwing on the silencer of you choice. Well this is a short review and below i have included a few more photos. Overall this is a great little gun that really really needs Hicaps because once you pull that trigger you just want the
  15. Bing a lover of all things eastern bloc I picked up a VZ61 scorpion when It came onto the market. With no Eastern Bloc pistols being available i thought this might fill the gap until someone makes a decent russian GBB. Anyway on with the brief review....... First up a couple of pictures of the Box art work and what you get once you lift the lid on the box. inside the box you have the VZ61, a 50 round magazine, a small ris rail and a couple of box's which contain the 7.2v battery, charger, muzzle cap, sight adjustment tool, allen key, small bolt, barrel extension for adding
  16. the wooden furniture is the chinese stuff. the stock is the wrong size but it allows for a 8.4v 3000Mah battery to be held. the gas part was filed into shape from a TM one and the holes filled. the front sight is a 74 style one but its close enough. the muzzle break is a guarder one. I like it. it feels good and looks like a AKM so i'm happy with it. I would buy a front sight and a proper gas part from inokatsu but i'm a bit ###### of with the far east as my AIMS kit has gotten lost in the post.
  17. a few more M4 type thingy's. mostly Tm based with all sorts of bits added and a SCAR.
  18. a couple of new "old Skool" AKM's. the top one is a CA slr105 converted to a AKM and the bottom one is an Inokatsu AKM.
  19. Another piece of Ak eye candy. enjoy! Inokatsu AKM.
  20. yeah mate, complete A! condition box with everything in there that should be including the little red cap for the end of the barrel only 2 rare TM's to find. the xm177 e2 and the mp5 navy. (apart from the barnes models as i think these are little rocking horse Sh*t)
  21. The latest edition to the collection. A Toyko Mauri AK Spetsnaz Special Secret Model. And not a mark on her. the receiver is in pristine condition.
