CAW barrel is a drop fit for the new SAA's

I recall you mentioned using some sort of Dremmel polish before, I think I'll give that a try as well.

BTW, in case anyone was interested, I found that regular silver polish (polishing paste for silverware, jewelry, ect..) does wonders for the midnight-gold finish

Damn... I was hoping the new versions would have the actual brass grips

Speaking of the trigger guard, the "gold" finish on mine quickly wore off

How do you like it? I had the earlier versions where you had to pull the hammer back rapidly in order for the cylinder to click into the right space. I'm told that has been remedied with the newer models so you can pull the hammer back as slowly as you like and the cylinder will line up fine with the barrel.

Drop in a real steel cylinder bolt stop (2nd gen) to see what "pure win" really is

Is that knife attached to your gun?

I changed the cylinder on the M19 so the finish matches up better: Again, my SD prototype didnt come with the cylinder set so I was just using the original black M19 cylinder which looked very "grey" in contrast to the CNC kit. I swapped the cylinder off a midnight gold M19 which turns out to be a very close match

Lt Fenix, what kind of paint did you use on the Zeke kit? Looks very professionally done.

Yes, I've had this for a while now. Got it through a friend of mine in HK prior to release. Other than Yahoo Auction, you can try source the 2.5 kits in Japan here: http://www.bishoen-hobby.ne.jp/bc058.htm

Thats a great find Jimel. Both are DX versions which includes the cylinder casing, arm and spindle; I wish I could get my hands on that kit since mine is only the frame and outer barrel

Tanaka M19 with CNC Prototype Frame and outer barrel Majority of these kits were made in 2.5 inch and became direct imports to Japan, retailing for aprox 113,400 Yen. The 4 inch shown here is a prototype, not yet available as far as I know. Solid piece of work, very clean detailing and the inner guts are encased by itself (Original uses a separate zinc place inside the plastic body) Night and day compared to the ZEKE kits, but then again, the ZEKE kits cost 5 times less.
