  1. And don't you forget to post your Nova Kimber Pro shots Seeing as how Kenxin got his Raptor Pro finished
  2. Yes I totally agree, very similar to Kimbers current release of the TLE, probably as close as your going to get to RS with a TM based kit. Great work Icolater, thanks for sharing your photos on a special gun. PS - possibly the first person to get an inner frame Cerakoted, it will be interesting to see how it wears, I'm glad everything was a perfect fit.
  3. It might work in Safari or another browser, I just posted some Dirty Harry revolver shots via Safari !
  4. Every revolver fans favourite cop gun is back. This time Tanaka have made a Limited Edition gas-pistol set, the previous M29 'Dirty Harry' Edition was a model gun with a Vintage Finish which didn't go down too well with the fans, as it more resembled the colour of the Vintage Colt 45 SAA 'Law and Order' release. This time they've perfected things with a Rosewood Grip (Not in Picture) countersunk cylinder like the RS M29-2 where bullets in the cylinder cannot be seen from the side, revised front sight and a pinned barrel, and a first I think for Tanaka - No Tanaka Trademark and 'Made In
  5. Same problem here, I can't upload links from Photobucket and Imageshack ??
  6. @ Kenxin & JCheeseright I couldn't help myself, had to return and look at those photos again @ Kenxin - I love the fake second frame pin on the newer Guarder frames @ Puresilver - I don't think a Black Finish will come anywhere near the Costa FDE/Silver colour combination, especially Ceracoated. But if you must it's scheduled for release just before the Chinese New-Year
  7. @ Kenxin Thanks for the wonderful comparison shots - terrific. A gun that instantly goes into the Top 5 of any collection. I think I've seen enough Costa G17 shots for one day I'm putting on my black arm-band and retiring from the thread for the rest of the day
  8. @ JCheeseright That's one stunning looking pistol, I'm sure anyone who got one wasn't disappointed. The wait really payed off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi M, Well done on a smashing piece of kit, I missed out on this kit unfortunately due to prior commitments, there are only so many Airsoft guns you can treat yourself to for Christmas, and my Christmas started last September I'd love to see a few more photos, are you happy enough with the Cerakoted parts ??? It really does look like a quality piece. Cheers.
  10. I think at the time these kits were available, it was probably the closest you'd get to a 'Heat' style Officer 1911.This WA pistol is a friends kit, so probably a bit before my time on the scene, but apparently there was a lot available back then. Personally I prefer the more old school 'Series 80' Colt markings and silver barrel/chamber, but wouldn't say no to either I'm not even too sure what the differences are between both versions of the Officer, the only external things I noticed besides the markings are the full-size Nighthawk-type trigger, black ring-hammer and black barrel. If
  11. With it getting closer to Christmas 'The Heat' is getting turned up WA/Prime Colt Officer ACP (lent to me by one of Santa's helpers)
  12. I couldn't seem to find a Tokarev photo thread, I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but are they really that unpopular ??? I was nearly tempted to put it in the FN thread as its basically a John Browning FN 1903 with some internal mods But anyhow KWA it is, so here it goes KWA Tokarev TT33 w. RA Tech Steel Slide and Barrel - 945g.

KSC CZ75 Prime w Altamont Rosewood Textured grips. I thought I'd give these wooden grips a chance, I don't normally stray too far from factory-appearance, me being the boring sort But they sure as hell are comfortable, especially with the thumb-rests, they give it a target pistol-feel.
  14. That can easily be arranged, Epson printer - print photo - place under Christmas Tree
  15. That's a very good question, they originated in Japan, so I'm not 100% sure! I've only ever seen them with white laser-type trademarks in Hong Kong, but with custom engravings you never know, they appear and disappear then reappear, always different each time The Beretta logos on the grips are aluminium-discs sprayed to match whatever colour frame they are needed for.
  16. A pair of Custom-Traded Beretta PX4 Storm Ultra-Compacts (WE)
  17. More Christmas spirit with Kris Kimber TM Hurricane Tactical Entry II with Cerakoted Dark Grey Frame and Matt Black Slide, small parts also Cerakoted.
  18. Tanaka S&W M36 w. Shooters Design metal-kit
  19. On the Second day of Christmas my true love gave to me - two Shiny Colts Keeping up the Christmas 1911 Cheer here with a couple of Classic Colts. Nova Colt Commander & Nova Colt Series 70
  20. Some more Kimber CDP shots, and proving that an iPhone shot is better than No shot These were taken in very poor light with no flash, so excuse the grain/noise in the photos
  21. Nice NC GRP Kenxin Here are a few boring comparison shots for the more easily amused They show the difference between the original small parts on my Kimber Raptor and the later Cerakoted parts. Originally when making the build, I was a bit short on parts so had to use a Hurricane SIS-type grip-safety and standard TM 3-hole trigger in black, these were later replaced with a Nova grip-safety and Anvil trigger in Stainless Steel Black, most of the Nova parts had varying amounts of surface marks, which seems to be the norm now, I actually photoshopped some marks out of the original ph
  22. Fabulous contribution Planeman, great to see these type of shots. Much appreciated by most of us here - Cheers.

  24. Hey Icolater, The Cerakoting turned out better than expected alright, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything of lesser quality than a Nova/Shooters Design/Prime/PGC aluminium type kit. The Hurricane kits are a bit of a mixture, I'm not too sure what, but any flaws will become apparent after sandblasting, there are a few marks on the frame of the TEII which I carefully hid for the sake of the photo. So I'd recommend Cerakoting for small parts especially, like marked Nova/Anvil parts, changes of colour to aluminium kits, refinishing well worn aluminium kits, but getting anything of lesser
