  1. It's got nothing to do with who anyone is, it's a matter of 'if you can't do a job properly then don't do it'. I look for quality not an amateur job, which this is, as evidenced by the overpaintng, uneven finish and gap infilling.
  2. Looks bloody awful. From inside an unflushed toilet?
  3. You might want to turn those rounds the other way up. Although good for a facial itch.
  4. Reaper16, Don't be coy, spill the beans. Best I know, with experience of a G&P unit, is to simply remove the centre line PEQ controls. The flashider cut-out is to accept the centering peg that is mounted inside of the QD suppressor.
  5. A fault of CA designs alterations. The RAS's that they produced prior to the CQBR, or thereabouts, had tapered lips meaning that when the Delta ring is pushed forward to retain the upper and lower sections, and hold them captive, they got tightened together, or rather the lower 1/4 got compressed against the upper. All new RAS's have straight cut lips which no matter how far forward you attempt to press the Delta ring it will not jam the upper and lowers tight together.
  6. CA raised the height of the RAS top rail to match the height of the incorrect receiver rail. The 'new' type RAS was introduced with their CQBR. Foresight and rear sight are still out of line.
  7. Might do that, once I get an IBH. Thanks.
  8. Föhoni, Your 'CQBR' is purple and fluorescent green!
  9. Bruce_m4, What's the story with the headphone brackets? They look very accurate, they're even tapered towards the ear!
  10. Yep, very nice colouring. Shame about the CA trades.
  11. Educated guess would be that most people do understand but don't give a monkeys.
  12. It's a standard Diemaco M203A1 that attaches to the barrel, as per the norm. The only difference from a U.S. made launcher is the height of the barrel axis and the bracket that extends from the front 'Knight's' barrel mount to the front sight which, as mentioned, is most likely a Diemaco tangent sight for the launcher.
  13. Sparkly looking kit. However, what's the benefit of having that pouch in the centre? Surely it would be better on the right hand side with all mag pouches going from the left around to the right.
  14. Not really the time for a tea party!
  15. Both Krylon and Tamiya spray paint had no ill effects on the rubber trim of my Just/J-Tech 2001 Mich.
  16. Yep, the RAS is completely off kilter! The two tightening bolts should be at the 6 o'clock position not 2 o'clock. Are they even tight? If not they won't be clamping the RAS to the barrel nut?
  17. More likely because you have your ptt on your right shoulder and the headset wire cutting across your throat. Not a good set-up. Stick it all on the left side so you don't have any interference with the rifle stock or constriction of the wiring. EDIT: As you say Pariah.
  18. A tank top in summer i.e. an armless knitted jumper!!!???
  19. Chrome Beretta, Is it a RAS or RIS? If it is a RIS they are inherently sloppy that's why Knight's Armament developed the RAS. The RAS has a claw clamp on the inside, upper rear which clamps tight to the inside of the Barrel Nut by way of the Allen bolt which is exposed top rear.
  20. He said it's an Olympic Arms(ICS) RAS, which it is.
  21. It'd obviously not a short dot since it looks nothing like it. There are numerous scopes on the market that have an objective lens the same size as the tube body.
  22. Aimpoint Type 1 mount. Possibly Type 2 but I can't make out if the mount is ramped under the main body of the sight.
