Thanks Cow, I was hoping to stick with the WE system since it's what I've used in the past, but it looks like I'll have to go to the dark side for my next loadout =(

I live on a US Military base so I have access to propane. My experience with the WE system hasnt been great, between mag leak issues, bolt not locking back and full auto not being a viable option. So you're telling me its better at this point? The question I forgot to ask is about a three round burst adaptor. I'd like to get it as close to my current service weapon (M16A4) as humanly possible, are there any decent burst kits for the WE out, or just the G and P?

So it's been over a year since I've owned a WE M4. I'm looking to sell my GHK AK and re build my GBB M16 kit. Does anyone have information on how the WE M16 series has improved since the V3 release? Are there still magazing leaking issues? Is the WE still worth buying or are there better replicas now? It's also worth noting that I will be playing in Japan, so I need to keep it under 320 FPS.

Updating with information in Japanese 134a gas testing. The verdict is, DONT. Use green or propane, you can barely get an entire mag out on auto with 134a, and the power is very poor. My guns is still up and running with no issues save for the bolt catch.

Theres no way to fix the bolt catch issue besides a completely redesign of the catch itself. Like he said, it's going to happen one way or the other. It's not a big deal to me as it's quite easy to hear when you're out of ammo.

Sounds like you should take your gun back and get one that locks back when there are still BB's in the mag.

I sold mine for that reason precisely. After missing a few shots because of the terrible parallax I had had enough of it. Looks super tacti-cool on your rifle, completely useless when you can just use the iron sights and actually hit what you're aiming at. The paralax was about a foot and a half to two feet at 15 feet distance. Do you math on that one, unless youre in exactly the right spot, you're not hitting anything looking at the dot.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q92mRcSvG38 Theres the new MP9 thats coming out. I dont know about anyone else, but my MP9 doesnt have ANYWHERE near the cooldown that one has. It also doesnt have that rate of fire.

Reading all of this makes me quite happy to have sold my WE M4. After going through a ver 1 and a ver 2 with constant, maddening issues I decided it just wasnt worth it. I'll pick up another M4 when someone comes out with an external air powered one.

I understand 3vi1-D4n, I was just listing my thoughts on the new MP9 as someone who owns the older version. So far I dont think my stock is flimsy at all, but it does have a very slight bit of wiggle in it that I cant seem to get rid of. It's nothing devastating to me, but it is a bit annoying. As I said before, if they fix the bolt stop issue I'll be VERY tempted to buy one just for that.

- I live in Japan, the current MP9 shoots just under 1j, so higher FPS would mean I wouldnt be able to use it. Might be more of a benefit in the US for woodland skirmishing - Why would I need more efficiency when I can empty the entire mag on auto in cold weather with no cooldown? I suppose if it's that much better it would make the MP9 an even better all year weapons. - It's already accurate out to its maximum range, I had no issues whatsoever hitting man sized targets, ON SEMI. On auto there is some spread due to the recoil. The kick and loud report are why I bought the MP9

Interesting. Shame it doesnt have trades though. I have to wonder what good system 7 will be on a gun with the performance of an MP9 will be. I can already get two full magazines off with short bursts.

I hear a lot of talking and not a lot of evidence for a KWA with System 7. Last I hear the MP9 was another limited run just like the TMP before it. If it's sold out odds are you'll have to wait a few years until another batch is made.

Just an update, I used my GHK AK for a field game about two months ago in 80 degree weather. It was extremely accurate, and extremely FUN to use! The last set of the day say my stock bolt carrier cracking around the screws near the front of the bolt carrier. End of the line there. I also noticed that as some point in the day the latch that locks the folding stock down snapped off. I no longer have a functioning folding stock. I dropped one of my magazines on cement from about three feet while transporting it. The magazine fell into peices and I was unable to get it back together as sever

I think that would be a fair assessment. I used my MP9 for some woodland skirmishing and it did pretty well, with accuracy at least on par with a TM AEG stock. Zero cooldown even when emptying an entire magazine on auto in one burst. Very hard kick, a nice loud CLACK from the bolt on each cycle...it's just a fun little gun to shoot. I'll be using it a gain this weekend in Chiba Japan, so I'll let everyone know how it fairs in colder weather with propane. I wonder if it can handle red gas when the temp is in the 40s...

No problems here. Bolt catch doesnt work at all and I'm scared to take it apart. I havent found a picture guide on how to break it down and it's sure as hell not intuitive. I'd say the MP9 is more fun than the 7. It has recoil as opposed to vibration, which is one thing I really like about.

So far I'm at about the same. Bolt no longer locks back, everything else works just fine.

These types of issues are why I refuse to buy escort based replicas, period. After years and sever escort based replicas later, it's clear to me that no matter what I do they will never but skirmishable, and when they ARE, they break in a few hours.

So far not so much breaking. The bolt stop doesnt work and I lost that little piece from the right side. besides that it's holding up well. I'm not happy with how damned complicated the breakdown is. Besides that its a really great weaspon

on another note, my selector arm is EXTREMELY loose, it WILL NOT stay in auto for more than a shot or two before falling down. On semi it may fall below semi, which seems dangerous. I looked at how to tighten it cant see a way to get into it.

This doesnt look promising, RAtech doesnt have one available, I sent an email to daytonagun to check but I doubt it. Any other ideas on where I can get one of these damn springs?

I was shooting around with my new GHK Ak105 and suddenly, NOTHING! It stopped firing. I traced it back to what looks like the hammer spring. I've attached a few pictures for you guys to see. Does anyone know how I am supposed to fix this? Well I still cant figure out how the hell this spring ever set the hammer forward, I cant see anywhere to attach it or anywhere for it to get leverage. Did something snap from mine?

I discovered the same thing Marlowe, the bolt travels as far as it possibly can. My GHK AK105 from Redwolf came with a METAL BOLT stock! No more plastic bolts it looks like! My NPAS bolt cycles VERY slowly, and misfires at times on FA. I have the CNC hop unit, but I have yet to install it., For now I'm sticking with the stock bolt/hop. What issues did you have marlowe?

Bumping because I just received my GHK AK105. It's EXTREMELY difficult to insert the mags! For some reason the mags wont "catch" and slide into place. I'm actually starting to chip plastic from the mags trying! A TM AK74MN magazine fits with ease, what am I doing wrong?
