  1. Contact WE or RA-Tech makes a steel version with markIngs.
  2. The trigger group is a little loose without the action being in the stock anyway, although, when the two parts of the trigger group no longer stay together, it's really hard, sometimes impossible to drop the hammer. I say this because I have the RA-Tech trigger box that is one piece and it totally fixes this problem. You trigger pin might be lose or coming out too, which can make the trigger hard to pull, but if you want a smooth, consistent, and positive trigger pull, you going to have to replace the two part trigger box with the one piece one.
  3. No it shouldn't be loose. Does your trigger group look like this? If it does, that's your problem.
  4. Sorry, the real deal. I've yet to see a replica of the LT-608. They are not listed on LaRue's website, but if you call and ask nicely, they'll sell you one.

  7. My gearbox broke too after only one game, about 3000 rounds in a little over 2 hours, so i was running it pretty hard. I need to open it up, but I think it's a piston. I was running a 11.1v 2200 lipo. The gun was great while it worked. Accurate, no feeding issues, got a ton of kills in those two hours.
  8. Even better than you PM, thanks blablabla.
  9. Yeah I figured it would loosen itself again......PM sent
  10. Fixed the safety without tearing it down. Popped out a pin and tightened the grub screw on the front of the safety. All fixed, at least until it shakes itself loose again.....
  11. Hey can anyone who's taken down their Stoner tell me if the gearbox uses an M4 nozzle or something different? I don't want to take mine down until it breaks if possilbe. Also anyone else have a problem with a loose safety? If I hold it with the safety off and point the gun straight up, the safety slips back to "on". Thanks.
  12. Still waiting for both the Stoner and the bipod to arrive but this is the bipod.
  13. I just sourced a RS Stoner bipod for my Stoner, and it was serious cash, as there aren't many available. It got me thinking that there maybe some demand for a repro. Having the actual bipod, if there's interest, I might look into fabricating a few. PM if you're interested and I'll start looking into whether it could be done for a reasonable amount of money. Please don't cluter this thread with responses, let's keep it on PMs. If I get this going I'll be starting a new thread.
  14. Cool shot of me and my GBB M14 from an article about the last Lion Claws Army Birthday Combat Experience. Link to the whole story with some more pictures: http://www.the-signal.com/section/36/article/48147/
  15. Nice. Love the USGI stock.
  16. Yes! In fact I ended up not installing it and just going with the WE part. I figure if it breaks, I have a replacement and I'll deal with fitting it then.
  17. I should add, the summer spring is good too. The action and cycling is quicker.
  18. Yeah, very solid. It's basically one piece except the right side screws on and off so you can assemble/disassemble the trigger group.
  19. From my experience, that spongy-ness is from the trigger group flexing because it's in two peices and they have stopped staying together correctly. This is what happened to my trigger group: The RA-Tech part, being one piece, fully solves this problem. The trigger is totally soild, the trigger group doesn't move at all in both the EBR stock and an RA-Tech stock. Trigger pull is much crisper and consistent. I just bought the housing and transfered the rest of the trigger group parts, I didn't buy the complete trigger group.
  20. The RS selector lock will fit, I have one on my EBR, a little bit of work, but not too bad. They are $8 from RA Parts. The RS stock needs some work where you mentioned and you have to use the metal from the WE stock, the RS part won't work. Sadly the fiberglass stock doesn't fit without a lot of work. My trigger group broke and the second M14 I bought used has the same problem. I bought the RA Tech part and while it's costly, it works REALLY well. Trigger group lock up is excellent and magazines lock in much tighter.
  21. Rear sights fit for sure. This one has a set of Chinese RS sights.
