  1. Rev's M4, Renegade's guns and bla's M16 are all sickeningly awesome. Win page is filled with win.
  2. They've got them in stock at LandWarrior, looks a lot like the wires run into the gearbox from the hop unit and are powered off the AEG battery; apparently they're good for up to 15 rounds a second, but the idea of having a gearbox attached to the hop unit sounds like an absolute nightmare for maintenance purposes.

Pretty certain - S7 system sticker on the box, takes S7 magazines (tested me friend's mag in mine and worked perfectly, and both my magazines work fine in his). Anyone got a picture of the BBU i can compare mine to? Failing that i'll get a picture of the guts of mine up here tonight to see if anyone can tell. It seems the only difference is the recoil spring... how odd. Perhaps it's a very early run of the S7 and the recoil spring was added to later models?

Personally i quite like the 2 tone look, stands out a little from the rest - I'd say keep it the same, but it's your gun Also, my USP above is the KSC alloy slide S7 version; A friend has just recently picked up the same pistol in Black from the same store, but his one has some kind of 2 stage recoil spring - Basically, towards the rear and underneath the main recoil spring is a secondary spring about an inch long - Does anyone know what this is for, and why mine doesn't have it? It doesn't seem to affect the performance at all, i'm just curious.
  5. Dude, it doesn't have a flash-hider. It has a face-breaker.
  6. True that, but it's mainly built to look cool - I can't find a suitable way of getting a gas block/tube under the RAS without importing an expensive new barrel, and i quite like the 'see through' look of the vents in the RAS. The whole idea was to build a gun simply to look as cool as possible, without any consideration given to realism... Nuts to milsim
  7. I call it the HBRA1 - Hwagan's Badass Rifle, A1. Phone camera pics, unfortunately... Spot the magpul
  8. Right, this started life as nothing more than an idea - It's built from nothing using an awful lot of expensive parts. I decided, as much as i like my vaguely realistic looking AR's, that i'd always been building and buying guns that look like something i'd already seen. So, i decided i'd have one built that i'd designed from the ground up, with all thoughts of realism out the window. The whole point of this build was to look as badass as i could possibly make it - Kind of anti-milsim I call it the HBRA1 - Hwagan's Badass Rifle, A1. Phone camera pics, unfortunately... It

  10. http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/callofdu.../AK-47_Lv70.png Other than the stock, see the resemblance? Either way, it's a very nice build mate
  11. Stein; MW2 inspired maybe? Looks damn nice for an AK, and i usually hate the things! I've got something really special on the way tomorrow that just about qualifies for this thread, i've got a picture of it now but it doesn't close to doing the gun justice... I'll take some glamour shots tomorrow evening.

That thing is beautiful. Here's mine - KSC Metal slided Tan Frame .45, KWA ABS slided trademarked USPC; I've since added some artificial wear to the raised edges of the slide on the .45, makes it look a lot more real.. I'll try and get some new pictures this evening. The Tan frame is actually a lot less shiney and beige in person, camera flash strikes again. Ever since i first handled a friend's USPC, i've been totally converted from the 1911's i used to use. Much better ergonomics, function, looks, capacity, reliability... they're just better, in every way.
  13. Now i think about it, don't G&P make a GBBR sentry with the exact same external design as the AEG one? I'm sure i heard that..
  14. I'd put money on it being a Sentry - Friend of mine has one, comes with the 10.5" barrel, DD rail, VLTOR flashie and gas block, wired to the rear out the box.. I'd guess at a lipo in the stock tube. Whatever it is, it looks rather dashing.
  15. Don't change a thing, IMO - Colour combination works really well and very nicely accessorised. G&P Sentry for the base gun by any chance?
  16. 2 cats. One is peaceful and friendly. The other, so far, has the following confirmed kills: 2 Foxes 6 squirrels 1 neighbour's cat Countless birds and squirrels... It's a feckin' murderer.
  17. They'd be stupid not too, if they can come out with a reasonably priced GBBR Pmag that doesn't leak, they'd sell boatloads of the things.
  18. As far as i know Magpul only do the XTM's and ladder covers - KAC ones maybe? KAC style covers are the solid looking ribbed one piece covers, and they're available all over the place. Almost every airsoft retailer should do them in various lengths and colours, assuming they're the ones you mean.
  19. MS2 + ASAP do i get a medal? *edit* Actually, i don't deserve one - i didn't notice the magpul!
  20. Ahhh, that makes more sense then. Saying that however, there's no mention or picture of the high mount on the LWA website... It might well be included, but you'd think they'd advertise the fact... Ah well. Still, i really can't fault this sight at all - Does everything you need it to do, very well made and durable, and all for an excellent price. In my opinion, a red dot is the first thing you should add to any AEG/GBBR; this does the job poifectly
  21. S'coz it's a G&P, the engraving on my M733 is just as deep... looks the absolute tits. Got to have a decent skirmish with the MOE stock on my M733 and MOE grip on my KAC rifle today - Far more comfy than the standard stuff, really did notice an improvement with the ergonomics.
  22. It might just be me, and i've only got a similar set up on one of my AR's, but i love having a red dot precisely on the tip of a standard AR front sight... it just looks cool. Also, here's a new family photo: *edit* Nice gun stormbreaker, G&P?
  23. I know WE do a long-slided two tone with awful markings - I believe the slide is silver with black highlights, it's not that pretty in my opinion. Great info on the mags - I've since sold mine as it required far too much fiddling. I've been considering the Socom Gear M9, but if i'm totally honest i no longer trust WE parts. I've seen countless 1911's break, as well as the M9's problems. Having said that i've had good experiences with WE's hicapas, but since i went and bought a KSC USP .45 i have no intention of going back to WE. It's a shame, because some of the parts were genuinely rath
  24. Thanks man I have to admit, before i actually got my hands on some magpul kit i thought it was a bit of a fanboy thing, but the MOE stock really is a lovely piece of kit and i've been proven totally wrong. Very very well built, and looks the nuts. Now all i need is for someone to hurry up and get the damn G&P MRP into the UK
  25. Second what Dave said - Looks really nice dude.
