  1. Sweet gun Stu - Nice and practical. I got bored of my M733, so i chucked some M4 handguards and my MOE stock on it; I'm really liking the look... Kind of modernised ATF, in a weird way. Anyhoo:
  2. FDE - Flat Double Espresso?
  3. The King Arms is a solid one piece upper as well, it's a very very nicely built piece of kit - Great finish, and no movement or play whatsoever. I'd really like to swap the outer barrel out and do a similar gas block set up to yours, but that's gonna be a nightmare without the key. While i'm on the subject; What length outer barrel are you using? *edit* and does anyone know where i can get the key?
  4. No key with mine =[ DAMN YOU, KING ARMS! Looks like i'll have to find where the hell to get a key now... annoying.
  5. I bet the BNP will use this on their next poster campaign.
  6. The above rifle is built of condensed win, painted with the essence of glory and has probably been queefed on by Megan Fox. If i knew what '+1' meant, or how to do it, i'd totally +1 that. How do you change the barrel on a VIS? I'd like to change the outer barrel on mine, but i have NO idea how the damn barrel nut works. Would be insanely grateful if you could shed some light.
  7. That's the fanciest tan/desert looking set up i've ever seen in my life. I'm not a massive fan of tan, but that's VERY well done. Also, an excuse to publicise my VIS in it's most recent set-up:
  8. That's the key point A friend got one with his MIAD grip, and it does look quite snazzy. I personally haven't had problems with the regular guard, but i wear quite thin gloves, if at all. Just a thought here - If everyone wants magpul stuff in the UK, why hasn't magpul realised that and set up a UK dealership? I mean, we get straight pull AR's over here, which leads me to think it's probably legal to add parts..
  9. Ahhh awesome, i'm fed up of not a single brand of KAC covers fitting and securing themselves on any rail i've ever seen... Methinks i need to invest in some. While i'm here, does anyone know if i can adjust the height of the locking pin on an MOE stock? Mine doesn't seem to push up quite high enough to lock the stock firmly - It'll stay in place, but tends to wobble up and down... I'm guessing the buffer tube is the problem if i'm honest, but thought i'd ask.
  10. People keep posting far prettier guns right after mine >< Clearly i need to purchase more blasters. @Tek - What's the name of those rail covers? I quite like the look of those; How solid are they on the rails?
  11. All the basic stuff: Price: £30.64. (http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog...Dot_Scopes.html) Battery: 1 x CR2032 'Coin' cell. Weight: Approximately 350g or so - Not measured, so don't quote me. Mounting: Standard 20mm/1913 rail. Colours/Brightness: Red or Green Dot, 5 Brightness settings for each colour. A bit of background info: Well, i know nothing about the Real Steel Micro Aimpoint. It's small, and errr... aimpointy? I'm going to take an educated guess and say it was probably made to do the same thing as the famous Comp M2, only in a smaller and lighter packag
  12. Fairly stretchy yeah, but i can now confirm it won't fit an LE stock - The shoulder pad is too long.
  13. Righty, i'm new to this whole magpul thing - The actual magpul things themselves i find a little annoying, but each to their own i guess - Anyhoo, got fed up of the battery changes in my VLTOR, so decided to go with a Lipo set up, and an MOE stock to make it look even prettier and shed a bit of the weight. What are the magpul rail covers like? I need to change the KAC style ones i have, as they slide forward no matter what i do. Anyhoo, picatures: Oh, and just because my KAC M16ish thingy has a magpul MOE grip...
  14. Had a G&P full stocked M4 and a CQB/R Carbine kit turn up about 2 and a half hours ago, and here's the result... The RoF is just silly on the thing.. I have no idea why, but it's ridiculous. I have a feeling i'll need more midcaps. And a couple of shots with the family for good measure;
  15. This ain't just an A&K Masada dude - G&P Custom one, with ALL G&P internals in a licensed A&K/Magpul shell
  16. I agree entirely on the price man, i should have been sensible and got the sentry, but hey, i had the money and i wanted the VIS... Sentry is without a doubt better value though. And mate, there'll be about 50 reviews of the masada before we even get one, lol.
  17. ACOG - You've already seen the battery, it's the one i pointed out to you in the thread you made. That exact one. I know this, because i ordered the gun being reviewed and the batteries with it. *edit* Crimson - It does take Crane-stock batteries, of the 8.4 15-1600MaH size, the Modstock has removable tubes for the battery... Anyway, battery is the one at the top of the page here: http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog..._Batteries.html *and another edit* Jack - It's not that much better than the VIS - the stock and RoF on yours is better, other than that the performance is e
  18. Anyone else other than the above poster who owns a DMR: You lose.
  19. My latest toy - KA VLTOR VIS Carbine. Or, as i like to call it, The VLTOR VIS-SD468. Not because that really makes any logical sense, but it sounds cool. And it also makes me feel slightly more manly because of all the letters and numbers. And i'm also aware the lack of a gas block means the real thing probably wouldn't work, but hey, i'm an airsofter! Silencer and Flash-hider are from a VFC M468 kit, which i totally failed when attempting to build... Ah well. I've also added a random Dboy's single point sling mount and a more comfy VFG, as well as a Star flip-up front sigh

  21. No worries man - It's perfect for what i need it for and i love it, but i am a bit peeved by the wire trapping.. TLC i guess. I seem to curse a gun whenever i open it or try and force anything, so i tend to just leave stuff alone these days - works far better
  22. See i'm a strong believer in leaving a gun as it was out of the factory until something breaks... Saying that, i'm in the UK, so the out of the box performance for this gun is as good as it needs to be, which doesn't hold true when you're up against people with another 60fps... *edit* Just tried that dude - Still not going anywhere... I'm sure it'll probably work if i use a little more force or wriggle something about, but i'd rather not risk it, as i have no real need to strip the thing anyway. Fairly annoying though >.<
  23. Right, unfortunately, i'm in the middle of moving an office of 300 people to a whole new building, and have a total lack of time to do a proper review. So here's the basic things you'll need to know: Good news: Build quality is excellent overall - Nice finish, nice trademarks, decent plastics and looks awesome. Performance is fantastic - I don't see any need to upgrade this in stock form. Shoots about 340fps, very accurate and excellent range. Gearbox feels smooth, RoF is about 800 a minute with an 8.4v. Rear BUIS is fantastic - very well made. Very comfy, very well balanced wi
  24. Will do - I'm going to get hold of the camera this evening, even if i have to temporarily 'lose' it somewhere in the office for an evening...
  25. Right, annoyingly, i can't borrow the work camera this evening. My phone camera is so bad there's no point, and i've had a knackering day, so i'll do the full thing tomorrow evening. However... The lower, removable section of the VIS has the tiniest bit of wobble, if you're using a VFG. The upper 3 rails attached to the receiver will only wobble if you get a hammer involved. A massive one. Stock is a little bit loose, as AR stocks tend to be. Still becomes rock solid when shouldered, however. Feeds flawlessly with the included hicap, CA hicap, ACM hicap, CA midcap and MAG
