  1. How are these holding up now, given that's it's a while since release? I'm thinking of picking up the sliding stock variant to run as a backup to my L96 (as soon as my UKARA is updated). How does it fare for things like the internals wearing ETC?
  2. Second M4 de-moulded, cleaned up and oiled. I don't feel like I'm going to catch something from picking it up now...

Mould on an M4? Reminds me of mine. Turns out mould will happily grow on Krylon.

  3. Another one here on the stock nozzle, and I think I got mine about 6 months after it was released. I doubt it makes much difference, but I don't tend to use auto that much, and when I do, it's more 3 round bursts.
  4. No, but I'd love to find out why as mine does the same thing. One thing - does your MP7 lock back if you insert an empty mag and then rack the slide? (mine does, but won't lock when the bolt retracts under it's own power)
  5. Went to fix a wiring issue on my MP5, and found that the front of the gearbox had cracked. Bugger

Damn. Make sure to round the corners on the new shell and glue on a Sorbopad.

  6. Yesterday my Series 70 1911 went from a debatable killing virgin, to a slutmonster of death :D

      Series 70 = Good.

Though one of mine has had way to many men drop down because of her ;)

      Translation:

First outing my Series 70, bagged no definate kills, but one possible kill.

Sunday, she had her second outing and utterly destroyed whatever it was pointed at.

First post was written in a way that I figured our biggest fan of the 1911 would appreciate

Sluts and 1911s always work in my mind. Now to find a way of combining the two.

  7. Just modded my G&G P90 to take non-G&G mags. Means I might actually get to use it for a change... :D

  8. Just bought a TM 1911 Series 70. This thing is awesome...

Took it out today - didn't feed to the last round on Abbey Predator, but then it was pretty cold. Nice range on it though :D

What pistols are you used to shooting?

TM PX4, TM FN5-7 are my usual sidearms. Occasionally use a WE Glock 18C / TM M92 Biohazard in urban games. Sure to say, I believe that a man can never have too many pistols

  9. Got two WE / HK3 mags for my PX4 - both fit and feed flawlessly and not any noticeable drop in performance. Only problem is the feed lips on one of them are a bit loose on the bb, so if I eject a mag with rounds in,the top round generally pops out.
  10. Hello mods. I've been an idiot and posted in the wrong place. could one of you please delete this?
  11. Started on Abbey Brut, but then as the problem started I moved onto Abbey Ultra (which has more lube in it afaik). All works OK now though
  12. I had the problem a few months ago - gratuitous amounts of lubing, cleaning, racking, lubing and cleaning seemed to fix the problem
  13. Kinda glad I've not bought the Creation one yet (not that my TM nozzle has broken, but I want something stronger to be on the safe side). Has there been any word on other manufacturers (such as Guarder) producing an uprated nozzle yet?
  14. All sorted now. Oddly however, I can't seem to do it when the charging handle is pulled back. Hopefully I should be able to take this out into woodland once I sort out some sort of sling.
  15. You sir, are a gent. I'll have a poke around it tonight and see if I can push the trigger up more. How much force does it take to get it moving that far?
