  1. OK, the Action dis connecter gave up and made my MP9 vent all of it's gas! Time to see about getting a steel one custom made!
  2. I've noticed that the one I fitted to my XDM is quite like that, it takes a few "warm up shots" before you get any hop at all!
  3. I really didn't think about washing BB's! Which thinking about it would be a great idea seems as when I took my KWA bucking out of my MP9 it had quite a but of residue on the "bump". Time to start washing or change BB brand methinks!
  4. The Mall is just around the corner, hopefully all my stuff arrives in time!

Hopefully my flight isn't cancelled or my trains #idly looks out window at white layering on everything#.

The answer is simple, create global warming around your area. :P

I would, but I think the locals in their stone huts might have a go at me and try to burn me for witchcraft. :P

  5. I just got one of these to replace my XDM's hop rubber. I also polished the inner barrel (the finish on the WE barrel was just shocking!) and added this to the gun, I can visually tell the BB is moving faster, however seems as I can only see up to about 25 - 30 meters in the dark I can't be positive of the accuracy or range. It does 'seem' to be more accurate, but I can't really tell for certain. I'll do some more range testing on Saturday where I can use the full length of my garden.
  6. I like your thinking Ollie! I' just put the original KWA bucking back in my MP9 with one of these ball bearings. It does the job perfectly!
  7. I almost cried looking at that link Chas. That stock is an abomination and that front end... it's just wrong man!
  8. I'm not fussed about an extra bolt with a bit of araldite around it, I'm lazy to go searching shops for one. I'll probably take a drive down later and see what's at B&Q.
  9. Seems like a bit of pants quality control to me! It's probably easier and cheaper than sending it back to the shop tbh. Looks like I'm taking a trip to B&Q or somewhere later!
  10. I'll make sure I've got spares then.
  11. I could, you know, put it in a bag or something? You don't have to try and store it in your teeth. EDIT: Got a G&P T1 sight for my MP9... the thread doesn't even tighten. That's getting returned to the shop!
  12. Bearings arrived today, perfect fit! If anyone is going to The Mall on the 9th and they need a replacement bearing I'm happy to bring a few spare for people, I have no need for 10!
  13. I needed to get a replacement ball bearing for my KWA MP9. Rather than pay $5 plus shipping from KWA, I figured I could get a better deal elsewhere. I stumbled upon www.simplybearings.co.uk after finding that I needed a 2mm ball bearing. The website is fairly easy to navigate and they have a wide selection of ball bearings at decent prices. in the end my order came to about £6 posted for 10 2mm steel ball bearings. I placed my order at about 11am, my order turned up next day! The quality of the ball bearings look good and they fit into my KWA hop rubber perfectly. Thumbs up for these g
  14. I found out the KWA ball bearing for the hop is 2mm. I've just ordered a pack of 10 from http://simplybearings.co.uk. £5 posted doesn't seem too bad, it also means I have spares in case I lose any more!
  15. Cheers dude, I managed to check it in a remaining bit of light a while ago. The hop is set fine but it does seem to be lacking fps and range. I think I'm going to have to track down a normal ball bearing, I can't be sure if the A+ stabilizer is a help or a hindrance at the moment!
  16. I'm still annoyed that I have no daylight available to set my hop properly on mine! I'd like to be able to see how accurate it is at range as well. In other news, stunt had a spare nozzle which we tried the aluminium piston head in and it actually fitted. I've not got round to trying it on my standard bolt just yet but it could be the right size for the piston head.
  17. Making a fresh start with my airsoft gear. Expect some more for sale threads soon!

  18. I've not been able to get the clicky cap to come on without getting it to click on fully. To be honest, I've not really tried hard but I'm not sure if it can be done.
  19. I'm currently using AIM top BB's. My local site stock them and they're just the easiest for me to use, the bonus is that my guns run through them perfectly. I'm using .28's in my MP9 at the moment but I might switch to something slightly heavier to give it just a bit more accuracy. I can't wait until the weekend when I test the range in daylight! I've just tuned the hop after Amatuerstuntman sliced off a little of the hop rubber so it no longer over hops .28's and going by torchlight it seems to be going very nicely.
  20. The manual has a break down of the MP9 magazine. http://kwausa.com/files/3213/0945/4762/MMD10_KMP9_V01.pdf I can't think off the top of my head what would be causing the other issues though.
  21. Why, why does nowhere in the UK have a bog standard G&P M4 with Colt trades? I don't want the stupid gya marine body!

Give ProAirsoft Supplies a call. They're a main G&G dealer and are usually literally drowning in G&G AR-15s.

The problem is that G&G only do the crappy white Colt trades where as G&P do nice engraved ones. Thanks for the reply though.

Oh - I'm sorry - I completely misread your status as asking about G&G instead of G&P!

  22. It is indeed, you can put some tape over the spring guide holder and a tiny bit in the gap in the charging handle to stop gas going in your eye!
  23. You can also try soaking the hop rubber in warm water with some soap, that's supposed to take away the swelling. Yet another thing (which is worth trying if the hop rubber doesn't work) is to EVER SO SLIGHTLY stretch the disconnecter spring. I emphasize ever so slightly because that's all it needs. You can do it with a flat head screw driver but take it easy and don't go mad. The above suggestion was one from the KWA forums, I've not had to do it myself but it's just another option in case the new hop rubber doesn't work.
  24. Sorry, I kept forgetting about the receiver wobble! If yours is wobbling I'd say that's also to do with the loose part you have. The screw that holds the upper receiver on screws into there so if that wobbles, so will the upper! Looking at the manual it looks like you have to remove the rail to get to the screw that holds on the muzzle base clamp (that's what the manual calls it).
  25. I know that Amateurstuntman's MP9 doesn't have any nozzle springs and it works OK. If the barrel is wobbling, have a look inside the fore grip, there should be a screw in there which holds the posts into the lower receiver.
