  1. I get a little stock and magazine wobble, nothing too major though. I've been meaning to put a little bit of something or other to take out the wobble off the stock though. I find the magazine wobble very minimal so it's not really a problem.
  2. Indeed, I just wanted to see if anybody else's was the same.
  3. Those holsters are nice, but I could never justify the cost! An update on the new parts in my MP9. The disconnecter is not magnetic, I'm not sure whether that means it's still made of monkey metal or not but time will tell on how well it holds up. The A+ hop stabilizer when combined with the falcon hop rubber sent my .28 BB's into orbit. I changed back to the original KWA bucking and now my BB's are still over hopping, but not trying to reach the moon. It's a shame really, because even the over hopped shots are quite accurate. I'm going to go back to the normal ball bearing for now un
  4. From what I've read, anything with a green piston head is an old nozzle and is slightly weaker than the new ones. New ones have an orange piston head. Nozzle springs are likely to go unless you add a tiny amount of super glue or locite to the tops of the pins the springs attach to. I've also read that sometimes the breech base (the part that the nozzle springs attach to on the bolt) can break as well, but I don't know how common that is. My baby is back up and running again (Thanks Amateurstuntman, for your time, patience and expertise!), though one thing hindered my upgrade plans for my M
  5. That's the one I bought and should be installing tonight. With any luck it can't be worse than the KWA original part. The Action sear (part 151) I bought says that it was steel, but the disconnecter didn't say it was steel, which is kind of confusing. Hopefully it is steel and doesn't break easily. If it fails then I'm seriously going to look into get one custom made so I don't have to keep buying spare parts.
  6. I can see myself reloading the mags a lot at my local due to the more "run and gun" nature of the site. Somewhere like The Mall or Battle Lakes would probably see me using less ammo due to the fact that you can actually flank there rather than just exchange rounds constantly.
  7. I'm currently using Flyye triple MP5 mag pouches. It's odd though, 5 of the pouches let the mag come out easily yet one holds onto the mag for dear life! They work OK, but they're not great for fast mag changes. I've got 7 mags at the moment and I've yet really to pace my MP9 though a game properly, I'm hoping it should do me though!
  8. I already have lol. I went through diassembling and cleaning all of the internals mainly so I knew how to put it all back together when the new bits arrive. As I've got to swap back Amateurstuntman's MP9 (it's not mine after all ) we might as well go through it together.
  9. Also get a spare dis connector! My parts should (finally) be arriving tomorrow! Then it's a trip to Amateurstuntman's to get the parts installed.
  10. Thanks for the update. Whatever they used for the adhesive is really poo (You might also want to change your wording as you've got past the swear filter!), I've got an elasticated band to hold mine onto my MP9's fore grip.
  11. I've only owned the torch for a few days so I've not put it through it's paces. I'll have to update the thread when I've used it a bit more.
  12. It's more the fact that the knob scratches against the body when you put the flash light on normally. I did think about an offset mount, if I did put the flash light on the left hand side of the gun then I could also fold the stock. Another purchase for another day!
  13. £200 for the Element copy? That's pretty hefty! Action Hobbies have them for £50 before postage and Airsoft World have them for £40 before postage. http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/M300-Mini-Scout-Tac-Light-And-Mounts_A15PHB.aspx http://www.airsoftworld.net/gun-accessories/laser-sights-and-mounts/element-m300-short-weapon-light-flash-light-black.html You sure you're not looking at the real one? That would make sense it's £200.
  14. If anyone has a spare MP9 disconnecter (part #153) SELL IT TO ME NOW! Inpatient should be my middle name! :-P

Not having much luck ordering one? :P

Oh it's ordered, however there's no chance of it arriving before this weekend. Also I'm sure if somebody sold me one it would be cheaper than the petrol to borrow AmateurStunman's MP9. Chatham is a fair distance from me!

Plus, you can never have too many spares! :P

That is true, you really can't :P

  15. Blurb from Surefire's website for the real deal. I bought this as I was looking for a small tac light which wouldn't look silly on my MP9. Things included in the package were: Flashlight Push button tail cap Tail cap with pressure switch sticky backed hook and loop Velcro Having only seen pictures of the light on it's own and not attached to anything, I didn't know how small this light really was. It's tiny compared to most other flash lights I've seen. However, for such a tiny light it has the power of a small sun. I was really surprised at just how bright this thing w
  16. I've used them in the past and never had an issue. I've just made an order with them today.
  17. A bunch of new stuff for my MP9. Why replace 1 bit when you can replace several.
  18. It is a sad day. I just put the KWA hop rubber back in and now the guns got its awesome range and accuracy back, however the disconnector decided to die so now she doesn't fire. Time to sail the seven seas of the interweb for a replacement which I hope can get here before 2 weeks time!
  19. I've read enough bad reviews about the place that I'm genuinely surprised they're not out of business! I would think the only reason people go there is generally to ask for the guns they've ordered because they've not been posted, or to threaten with legal action to get their money back!

I'd say it's the worst part of the pistol tbh. I was lucky and managed to get a TM one to replace and it works like a charm. I'm not sure what WE were thinking about when they finished it, but damn does it look terrible! I'm just happy the rest of the gun (once it's had some thread lock added) is an absolute beast. I may have overdone it on bending the hop adjustment arm though, I now need full hop to get the hop I need for a .28. It still sends it a great distance though!
  21. I'm certain that something just a bit wider than the ball bearing can be used. A small piece of wire might just work. I may try and do that when I take the hop apart.
  22. A not so clear comparison between the KWA and REAPS bucking. The REAPS is on the right and KWA on the left.
  23. OK, I got to skirmish this yesterday and it was a blast! However, I did find that the REAPS bucking is pretty poo. Yesterday was incredibly humid, so humid that stuff in our safe zone bus was wet without even going outside! This caused me no end of grief with my hop on the MP9. My shots were all over the place and the hop was just not happy. Even after I dried it out and put a few more mags though it the hop just would not settle. Another thing I found with the REAPS bucking is that the contact area is SMALLER than the originally KWA bucking! So my personal recommendation is not to buy the
