I've been getting about 75 bb's (3 mags) per fill with propane. Sometimes I don't get quite 75 but very close. The magazines are HUGE!!! I don't know what I'm going to use for mag pouches this Saturday (probably my pants pocket!) as I just got a spare in the post yesterday. The TM 5-7 has got the most recoil of ANY of my pistols and I think this going to be my primary sidearm even if it doesn't pierce armor!

I base which guns I want in airsoft on their performance in the real steel continuum. Armor piercing rounds are cool like having a really fast sports car...you'll rarely get to max it out but its cool to know you got it.

I've been searching and searching and searching for long mags and they are effectively sold out EVERYWHERE I've looked. I finally tracked 3 down at the local hobby shop but they're $60 each and I just don't know if I want to spend that much. Also, I just ordered a KSC shortmag for $55 not knowing that AirsoftGI had KWA shortmags for $32! Thanks for the info on the sling. I think I want a single point sling so that the gun can hang down to my side. Right now I have a simple sling that just goes from one point to the other and its very uncomfortable and unpractical. The real-steel MP7 has a proprietary suppressor. I was wondering if anybody knows any further information about it and possible airsoft replicas. also, whats a good sling for this gun?

KWA recommends .25 and thats what I use. I could care less about the fps, I prefer accuracy!!!

I've been shopping around and I see that your gun came with 2 mags. How much did it cost/shipped to the USA and how long did it take? There are price differences with whether one gets trademarks or not. Also, some of the retailors include only ONE magazine. Shipping may take up 2 months for the cheapest method and I just don't think i want to wait that long!!!! thanx.

I'm not exactly clear where the wear is supposed to take place. I've shot maybe 500 rounds with propane and I don't see any "wear" issues. I read the airsoftcanada thread and I might try out some 134a, as I don't want this gun to bite the dust. Although, considering all the wear problems they insist that it doesn't effect the performance (yet!). I'm debating whether I should get a tightbore barrel and another magazine or just 2 spare magazines. Decisions, decisions....

I think thats the way the auto-slide release works. Mine does the same thing. When I put clips in other guns the slide doesn't automatically reset like this one. I don't think I would've even known if i didn't read this thread. I'm loving this gun more and more everyday. I've seen several tightbore barrels for the 5-7 and was wondering if anyone had any recomendations?

THANKS!!! thats very re-assuring. At first I was very disenchanted by my first Tokyo Marui experience. TM always held this legendary status with me and then I immediately starting having these rudimentary problems. Now, after breaking the gun in a little, proper lube, and the fill-valve situation explained, TM has resurrected its legendary status with me. I haven't had any of those problems. I did have problems with the bb's getting stuck in the magazine but after I lubed the bb feeder and ran a couple of mags the problem cleared up. Also, when I fill the mag with propane, gas leaks from the fill valve, but the gun doesn't leak otherwise. I was thinking maybe this is because the gun was meant for 134-A instead of propane. Is there any good remedy for this? I don't like wasting expensive green gas but propane I don't care.

I"m trying to learn the most I can about GBB guns and was wondering how the different percentages of the springs correlate to performance? Is it the lower the spring the "softer" it is and therefore MORE recoil? I am looking to maximize recoil and possibly fps.

yes, and this is an awesome gun!!! One thing that wasn't mentioned is that it is fully liscensed by Israeli Military Industries (IMI) so the markings are very realistic.
