  1. He bought some cheapish goggles, they arrived damaged so he shot them instead of sending them back - up close - 23 times. If your having that happen in any airsoft skirmish you are doing something very wrong. Your surprised they broke further?
  2. Some really nice rifles in here. Fancy getting an Ares M110 myself - interested to read your thoughts on it USMC.
  3. Your expectations of these goggles are whats at fault here.
  4. Somewhat old thread but thought Id add my opinion. Ive only really been airsofting whilst at Uni and decided it was time to check out the sites near my parents house and Saighton camp is very local. So me and my more experienced mate went back over easter and tried out 3 sites, this being the second. We too read the gates warning so arrived promptly to be greeted by an unattended wide open gate. As for finding the safe zone there is a map on their site indicating where to go although it is relatively simple. The safe zone was pretty well equipped and we soon settled in and got set up.
  5. A rough measure puts me around 60/62 so a large should have me sorted. How about something like these: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Replica-MICH-2000-Helmet_AQS9U.aspx http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?REFPAGE=http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog/TN_Barrels.html&WD=helmet&PN=Helmets.html%23aTH684#aTH684 http://www.springfields.co.uk/clothing/headwear/army/?id=3743
  6. Could give a boonie a go, never been much of a hat person lol. How much would a decent looking helmet set me back? Ive got a pretty large head.
  7. Its all far to new looking. I am pretty new to it though, so any input is appreciated. Im planning on getting a real chest rig (like this http://www.ukkitmonster.com/product_info.php?cPath=73&products_id=723 ), some knee pads, a holster and side arm at some point. Any other suggestions are welcome.
  8. No the L86 can take upto 610mm, I ordered a 550 cause the ICS and FireSupport sites listed it wrong. The prometheus had all the slots cut in the right places, compared it to the stock barrel before putting it in and all seemed right.
  9. Well the 550mm Prometheus barrel has made a considerable difference. Pretty pleased with it really, that and an ACOG has made it a pretty solid DMR. Still plan to get a full 610 tight bore and one of those H hop things when I can.
  10. *dont know how the Mods feel about double posts but couldnt see an edit button anywhere* I just stripped mine down and measured it. Definitely 610mm - anyone want a Prometheus 6.03 550mm inner barrel? lol
  11. Sod, ive put a tape measure against it and eyed it up and 610 looks about right. Dont know why ICS would list it as 550 then. Will take a look and see when I get hold of it, can probly find a mate to buy it and get the 590 or 650 and trim it. Shame your having issues, Ive had a play with a few of the ICS L86/85s and theyve all been pretty decent.
  12. My ICS L86 has outperformed my expectations and I was expecting a fair bit from it. Ive even used it in CQB a few times without issues. I found the accuracy to be really good too. Just ordered a 550mm Prometheus barrel as Fire-support and ICS themselves list it as a 550, you sure its a 610mm?
