  1. Need to take sandpaper to the grip on the M203.
  2. There was no way in hell Sergeant Smith was going to dig around the latrine for his lost wedding ring.
  3. Pretty good review, just for the record it's not actualy a fake IR cover but a replica of the lens sheild that Surefire make. Also these are 100% compatible with surefire replacement bulbs and also 3rd part 'Surefire' style as well....with a bit of modding they can take CREE also..... I picked up some 250 lumens in Tokyo for about 3,000 JPY and they work perfectly!
  4. To bbe honest If it was a choice between the TM and the BE I would without a doubt go for the TM. All in all the TM is a much better build both inside and out. The only difference is that the TM doesn't have the rubberised finish.
  5. Cazboab is correct. The reason why I mention certain manufacturers alot is due to the way the news editing is done, certain members of the news team are direct contacts with the manufacturers who then post news, reviews and info directly on to the forums (It prevents duplicate posts and stops certain manufacturers getting multiple hits from contacts). I basically place up exactly what I am told by those manufacturers errors and all. I have no affiliation of finacial benifits with any of the companies that I work with and soetimes I'm even out of pocket on certain reviews as I h
  6. Well guys i hate to break the news to you but the stock, receiver and front furniture are going to be the one of the best on the market for AK74's. Why? Because I have just received official word that modified versions of the ICS receiver and stock are being used in REAL AK74's and AKS's. The funiture is made to the exact same specs as the ones supplied on the decomisioned unit ICS was given to make this replica. Currently the information regarding which real arms manufacturers are now using these sets is confidential but I can say that ICS carry the licencing for a reason.
  7. yes I a in the process of finishing up 4 other reviews at the moment. Then the AIMS.
  8. VFC AIMS And yes the Blow back action is great fun....no recoil but the sound is very cool!
  9. Its the ICS AKSU-74...not on the market at the moment as it's a review sample. The review should go up this week.
  10. One missing but this is my small collection of AK's and variants
  11. Just remember this "The people aren't communist, the goverment is!" Now everyone back to posting! It's for the good of the forums and Chairman Arnie loves you all equally!
  12. When I have some time I might do a review on this bad boy that arrived yesterday!
  13. The last one!!! I've had it on hold since they came out as I was waiting for the pouches to be in stock also.
  14. Can vouch for the front site being a complete PITA to remove!
  15. Just to confirm what Sale is talking about: This is the small silver button that you depress to release the lower part of the RIS Here is the lower part of the clamp that holds the top part of the RIS in place even if the lower part of the RIS is removed.
  16. Apples and Pears mate.......the TROY A3 CQC is an amazing bit of kit but there is nothing from stopping you from waiting for the KAC PDW and then making your choice. Technically the rail is free floating, the front cap makes no difference to how the RIS and barrel fit. So you could remove the front cap without worry of the barrel wobbling or being loose.
  17. Score & Conclusion. I’m going to give the King Arms TROY A3 CQC Compact 9/10, I just can’t give this amazing piece of engineering a perfect 10. Why? This is a CQC weapon and I feel that certain feature of the rifle were more of a generic feel. The standard A3 Birdcage flash hider could have been replaced by any number of specific CQC flash hiders that King Arms produce, specifically the TROY CQC flash hider or the TROY medieval muzzle brake. Like wise I feel the front sight really shouldn’t have been the standard M4 version and although the TROY front sights would have
  18. The rear iron sights are based very closely on the TROY battle sights and are replicated almost perfectly. The only difference being is the windage markers on the front of the sights. On the real steel version these reference markers are not present. This sight is a flip up variant and can be laid flat when not in use and due to the low profile design give the operator and much better field of version compared to other products on the market. The sights can be raised by pressing the button found on the left hand side of the unit to either uses as a stand alone aiming devi
  19. The battery stock is modeled around the VLTOR club foot modular stock and has to be one of the best replicas on the market. This is also made from high quality nylon that is found on real steel parts. It also breaks down in pretty much the same manner as the real one. As you can see from the image below the stock is ready to take a custom battery designed for stock and requires no further work by the operator. Located on the top of the stock is a small circular window this allows you to see the numbers on the buffer tube indicating what position the stock is in. Most oper
  20. The supplied motor was not branded but as you can see from the images is very nicely finished and with an 8.4v battery was able to fire 13 to 14 rounds a second and perfectly skirmishable for players looking for something with a more realistic rate of fire. The final difference between the King Arms receiver set is the extension tube from the lower receiver to mount the buffer tube to. The design team has rethought the design process and has made some changes that are really a benefit. Players who use a battery stock and have upgraded to a metal body will all know about t
  21. Now yes, this is a gimmick and its only real use is to hold the fake bolt back without having to also manipulate the charging handle while adjusting the hop unit. But never the less, it’s still something that is useful and offers something a little more unique. Remember though all that is being moved is that thin piece of steal, so don’t expect the clanks that the SCAR or MP5 ranges offer. To see the bolt in action check out the video below: The magazine release catch is identical to others on the market, but uses a hex bolt to assemble the pieces; this is an improvement o
  22. One of the other major differences between the King Arms and other generic M16/M4 bodies is the bolt release catch. At first glance the bolt release catch looks the same as any other. But it’s only until you break it down that you see any difference. The major difference is that the bolt release catch now has an arm to it that passes underneath the gear box. This then attaches to another modification to the generic lower receiver design and that is a spring loaded catch. This catch engages the fake bolt as it’s pulled back, locking it in the open position. By
