  1. Precisely. To have a good durability on internals, the characteristic of one part to the other need to be similar, in this case hardness. Once theres one part significantly harder than the others. It is also a subject to faster wear off of the weaker ones. Same thing happens for the VSR10 piston and sear. Avoid having one part much harder than the others to maintain durability. Thus said, changing a few parts to be enhanced means there would be a possibilty that they need to change others to match. Hence the more cost will be needed. Thats why its better to leave the gun as it is or
  2. Well actually pot metal are used because theres a regulation that limits the fps, thus higher grade material does not only increase cost but also not necessary as lower grade material are enough to last a long time. The problem is that we like to use green gas on pot metal. Thats the problem.
  3. Get the WE trigger bar to replace that. And also remove the fire indicator, my friend has said something about performance issue with the indicator installed when using stronger gas than duster.
  4. Hey guys, found the solution to the problem yesterday. Stripped it up and I got a total of 3 hammer springs to switched back and forth. Chose the strongest one and put it in. Suddenly it works. I guess I just wrongly select the matching hamspring strength the last time I put it in. Now it cycles with no problem.
  5. So this is the video to show what happened. Seems like the valve knocker doesnt have enough power to hit the valve, thus why the hammer didnt go down in full when fired. And that explained why when the mag is released, the hammer would go back in place. http://youtu.be/GPhSO96VuUg
  6. Came across a strange problem on my xdm since I change to metal slide. Now the hammer wouldnt hit all the way hitting the valve. And that resulted in tiny gas release. Not until i release the mag that the hammer can finally be all the way down. Seems like the hammer force is too weak compare to the valve's outward pressure. The strange thing is that if I try to rack and shoot over and over, will then the gun starts to shoot (mag condition cold). Tried upgrading hammer spring to no avail. Should i change the mag valve? Tried with new mag still had the same problem. Anyone got any exper
  7. Quite positive on this. The slide catch is fine, so does other internals. This one is just the reinforcement part on the slide that connects the slide and the lower frame as not to have the frictions eat away the plastic.
  8. UPDATE: found out the little broken piece is the metal part on the plastic slide which connects to the lower frame of the gun. In terms of function, it wont matter much. When changing to metal slide, it wont get transferred anyway. So im all good.
  9. The size is approx 4mm wide. Been trying to find where it fell from, i cant seem to find it anywhere. Its a broken part because from the pic theres the white part that indicate it was stuck on something before.
  10. Sorry for late postings, heres the little metal thing that fell off when I use Green. First it made the slide stuck halfway, the when I try to rack it back, it fell off. Anyone knows what this is?
  11. Dont use GG for stock xdm. I used mine and somehow the slide stucked and cant be moved, something came out of it and I dont know what it is. Will post the pic later, thought someone might know what it is.
  12. Ah ic, manage to fit it in. However it seems that its going to fall off again due to recoil. Kinda strange from TM doing something like this, i expected something better like screws though. Thanks alot Deadmeat and mimesis!
  13. how does that fit in? Tried few times with no luck.
  14. Guys, today I tried running standard xdm using green. The blowback was insane. The front sight fell of and suddenly theres a rattle noise from the gun. I opened it and found this piece of plastic. But theres nothing in the manual having the same shape as that. Anybody know which part this is suppose to be?

From my experience using both 6.01 and 6.03, 363mm length barrel, 6.03 gives best accuracy and consistent from shot to shot. Im using Edgi barrel.

@thum I got the cradle reducer from you a long time ago, it just came to my mind, is it safe to say that the. Rreducer helps maintain my fps from fluctuating a lot? Does it make fps more consistent?

@roman Thanks, Its all depend on individual taste mate, no shame, each unit is unique. Mine wasnt really stand out much you see, its all common setups with it being magpulized and such

@thum Great news! Any news on the stanag conversion as well? I might be buying both of these things when available and ship it in one go. At last, Im able to finish my setup after a very long time Base: KJW M4 CQBR V1 Specs: - Edgi 363mm 6.03 - Cradle Bolt Extension - Magpul MOE Stock - Commercial model (RS) - Magpul MOE Pistol Grip (RS) - Magpul Trigger Guard (RS) - Magpul MBUS gen II - Magpul ASAP - G&P DD Mk18 II RAS - Tango Down Vertical Grip Short - Outer Barrel Extension - Troy Flash Hider - ACM ACOG 4x32 @Robi19 These are what I used to eliminate wobble on my stock:

Part 1 and 2 will fit. Not sure bout the ready mag. Inner barrel you could get from thum or buuy ratech or edgi barrels. If the stock wobbles, get yourself some anti slip stickers and put it inside the stock, or on the stock tube. I'm doing it to my moe stock, and got rid of the wobble, will post pic later on to show you.

Yes for the ASAP plate you need to put spacer inside to fill the gap so it wont wobble. I used small electrical cable to wrap around the gap. And also you need a washer to fill the gap between the plate and the buffer tube, because the plate is thinner than stock ones.

Actually by using the stock loading adapter (removing the tube), you already could use normal speed loader to load the BB, you just need to make the hole on the adapter bigger, thus the mouth of the speed loader could fit in. A metal speed loader would be great instead of current plastic ones which could break anytime.

Yeah same here, Stanag conversion for 2 lower parts of the current magazine would be great. So the upper mechanism wont change. Plus we could quickly swap each other.

Guys, just to confirm, the real steel magpul moe trigger guard and pistol grip do fit in kjw right? I tried to instaal the gnp triger guard on my kjw but its wider than tthe stock triger guard, is it because its AEGs?
  24. @mike I might be asking too much, but could you show pics? Or any links that might help visually? I'm very confused.
