  1. Agreed, Skarclaw! I should really find the time to photograph mine...
  2. That's a G&P M653, isn't it Gigueand? I have one of these, too - as well as one of their M16A1s! They're cracking AEGs & they look the *suitcase*, too...
  3. Here's your link: http://olive-drab.com/od_soldiers_gear_eyewear_specs.php
  4. Thanks, sigma3! I'm a real fan of those US SPECS; so much so that I tend to wear them to most skirmishes, regardless of the theme. It does help that I own the corresponding tinted lenses... Have you considered customizing some SWDGs with a replacement mesh 'lens'? That way, from afar they'd look like regular tinted goggles, but conform to EW's strict rules!
  5. I'm disappointed I was never able to attend an East Wind event... Naturally; there were other attendees, but I don't appear to have any appropriate photos stored locally. Here's a link to the full album for those inclined: http://www.wyvernairsoft.com/airsoft-photos-cold-war-gunman-red-mist-18.html
  6. Were those taken at Operation Eastwind, sigma3? Here's my best effort for our equivalent themed game here in the UK: These photos are courtesy of Wyvern Airsoft.
  7. I'm loving the black M92F! How does it perform? I'm potentially looking at it to substitute my TM M9A1 for older themed games...
  8. Isn't that an M14 EBR stock? How on earth did you mount it on your SIG?!
  9. Apologies for the double post, but would something like this * do? * = http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/acatalog/WE-M1911-Silencer-Adapter-RW_1911thread.html#.UokxgPn7pX9 I appreciate it says its for the 1911 series, but I'm struggling to find anything else...
  10. Thanks, intinerious! I really appreciate it...
  11. Hi there, I am the particularly proud new owner of an HK3P Glock 17 (Gen.III); and despite not having the opportunity to skirmish it yet, I am very please with my purchase. It doesn't feel like a toy when compared to my Tokyo Marui Berettas! I do have a couple of questions: what kind of threaded barrel adaptor will fit this model? And are the night sites that come with the Tokyo Marui model compatible with the HK3P? Thanks guys!
  12. Nice M727, Rogue845! I'm somewhat jealous, as I've just sold my old-school Armalite (a Tokyo Marui M733 based AEG with a Classic Army XM177 receiver set, & a G&P period appropriate flash hider & pistol grip)... When skirmishing, I adopted a more 'Blackhawk Down' inspired setup (Aimpoint M68 CCO replica, & a barrel mounted Surefire 6P replica), but unfortunately I have no pictures of this configuration. You'll just have to accept my meagre sales images in both XM177 & M733 configurations, instead: Regarding the ring sight you're using; I've got one of those, but the ri
  13. We definitely need more Tokyo Marui M9A1 in this thread: (You'll have to forgive the quality of the photos, I'm still figuring out the features of my new camera) I'm looking for a drop-leg holster for this piece (with the M3X weapon light attached), & I'm considering the GUARDER Tornado Tactical Thigh Holster... What do you guys recommend?
  14. Nice Sig skyler8158, is that just the Guarder railed frame? Is everything else stock TM? Funny, because I was thinking of doing the exact same thing to mine... How has it worked out for you? Was it easy enough to install? Has it mucked around with your gas consumption? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I am quite keen to do this myself - so long as it doesn't ruin my gun!
  15. Adequate?! I love skirmishing my stock Tokyo Marui P226 - it's accurate, reliable, & has a surprisingly good range. Plus, the stock plastic body doesn't reveal the age of the gun whatsoever - though the gun itself is about 18 months old now, it looks brand new... So I'd say its more than adequate! RE the prime 228 - I appreciate where you're coming from; however, I am of the opinion that an airsoft gun is for skirmishing - nothing else. A beautiful piece of kit nonetheless!
  16. +1 for the P226 "SQUAD 701" - that's beautiful, what brand is it (if you don't mind me asking)? One thing I will say; either you take extremely good care of your guns, or that SIG is underused - & we can't be having that now, can we?!
  17. Well, here's my offering from VFC: Thoughts welcome...
  18. Nice job - I like; the weathering isn't to my tastes, but at least you haven't sprayed it TAN! How are the Silverback Laser grips working out? Are they any good? Would you recommend them?
  19. What's with the evil looks? I skirmish with mine all the time!
  20. Alright, you make a good point about Ares, & Systema AEGs - however... ... Pardon me your highness, for airing my concerns on a discussion forum. I was merely drawing from my prior experiences owning Tokyo Marui clones in the past & them being nothing but trouble! Personally, I'd far rather go Tokyo Marui & be guaranteed quality straight out of the box - instead of buying a cheap copy of 'similar' (BUT NOT THE SAME) quality, constructed out of naff (BUT DISTRACTINGLY SHINY) pot metal...
  21. THAT. PISTOL. IS. GORGEOUS!
