PlasticMag
It's similar to a Laylax product, as I recall. Lemme find it. *edit - nope, it's a Freedom Arts product: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...m%20Art%20Parts *edit 2 - King Arms have several trigger guards with similar release mechanisms, this is just a more convenient option. precisionstrike
anyone know if that will work on a g36? i have short fingers =P
ED-SKaR
With a little bit of enginuity you would deffinatly make this work on a G36 (and all HK guns with this type of mag release) [edit, even with the word release all over this thread i STILL cant spell it properly]
Docv400
Never saw the point of that to be honest, unless you always drop your mags to the ground. There's another vid on there somewhere showing someone releasing the latch with the front of the replacement mag before inserting it, again, the empty mag ends up on the ground. ED-SKaR
Its for those really fast reloads where having a full mag in the gun is more important than the empty one that fell on the floor. OR Its for one hand to do the releace and the other to switch mags IE: 1take out full mag with off hand 2hold full mag and empty mag together in off hand 3 mag release with main hand 4 switch mags 5 take empty mag (that is still in your hands) to mag pouch/dump bag This is similar to the reload on an m16/m4 with a ready mag and it is much faster than the old fassioned way: 1take out empty mag 2 put empty mag away and get new mag out 3 put new mag in
Docv400
I realise that ED, I just don't like throwing mags on the ground
Bizurkur
Here's that reload method spoken of earlier.
my_plague_666
cool looking mag release. problem is i dont like dropping my mags all over the place... plus i couple my mags anyway and it's easier to change coupled mags IMO when you already have hold of them in order to release them.
