G&G M14 First impressions (with pics)

Hey Guys

 

Been kind of busy lately but i found something that might interest those of you wanting a video

Ive been hearing alot of people having problems with their rifles but mine seems fine

 

In the future im planning to get a Real Steel Scope mount, replica Aimpoint and maybe a custom camo paintjob.

Yes, resurrecting an old topic, but wanted to check on how those that have had the rifle for a while like it and if it actually has broken in and functions... normally.

Now that I have replaced some of the G&G M14 "version 1" parts with some replacement "version 2" parts sent to me by G&G, it's working quite well now - it's performing the way I would have expected it to right out of the box.

 

I am going to get a TM M14 as well and compare the two first hand.

 

G&G were excellent to deal with in getting the problems resolved.

Eggman,

What parts did you replace? I wish I had dealt with G&G rather than tackle fixing/replacing parts myself. It shoots fantastic now, but could have saved some money/time had I done so.

Not sure whether to wait for the TM one though.

trigger spring, trigger arm. I also get a replacement hop up bucking set, but those were not really relavant as I had already replaced them.

 

My main issue was the trigger spring and and resulting trigger weight.
