F1amez Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 Hello to everyone I have recently decided to start airsofting back up, i currently own a Star Scar-L with the EGLM grenade launcher, im looking to shorten the barrel and put a silencer or a laser on but i cant find any that is cheap with good quality, so im asking wether anyone knows were i could get a decent silencer or a decent laser. F1amez Posted February 2, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 2, 2010 The lenght i dont really mind how long it is aslong as it looks good on the Scar-L but it has to be 14mm thread as i think that is what the Scar-L has and the grade off lasers i was thinking off was a green rail mounted laser, I heard that you cant use them in certain skirmish sites. I dont know if this is true or not could someone tell me if that is right? With the RSOV silencers i also heard that they closed down, again i dont no if this is true it was a long time ago. TeowneD Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 i reccomend you to try out the king arms lightweight silencers. thier pretty cheap and they come in many lengths. they also come with 2 thead adapters, 1 for 14mm counterclockwise and 1 for 14mm clockwise you can probably get those from many online retailers as for the lasers, i currently have the battleaxe airsoft peq 15 green laser. (they also have red laser versions) thier damn bright and you can also zero the laser with the provided allen key to match your sights. if you ever pop into hong kong you can find them in the shop "P-X" for about 190HKD around 15GBP (they come in black and tan color) here's battleaxe's website if your interested: http://www.battleaxe-airsoft.com/modules/c...index.php?id=12 BTW about the EOs you can find the dimensions for each specific holosight at EOTECHs website: http://www.eotech-inc.com/products.php?id=1 my guess is that the difference in dimensions between the repro and RS will be quite small for each holosight. ive got a ACM EOTECH 551 replica and i think its great. the smaller one gives more room mounting other stuff on your rails. hope this helps! brendan Link to post Share on other sites
