Are Either of These Builds Possible?

Hi, I am a bit of a noob when it comes to sniper rifles but when I saw these guns looking at photos from SHOT, I fell I love.

 

Anyway here they are:

M24A3 SWS:

I think it the rifle action is the same, only the stock is different. Anyway, is it possible to build either of those guns? Any input is appreciated. (I don't even know what would make the best base.)

EDIT: The stock in the second p[icture of the M24A2/3 is actually slightlyy different from the stock in the first picture. I prefer the stock in the first picture.

For the first you'll need an L96 stock and for the 2nd you'll need a CA M24 stock, Simples

 

Theres a touch more to it than that, like what base gun do you plan on fitting into either of these platforms etc. but thats only if you don't just go out and buy the TM L96 or the CA M24

the second rifle could be made with a tanaka a.i.c.s,as thats not far of what that gun is,bar the bit ontop of the reciever/barrel

yeah that rail looks like its gonna be a pain to source/machine,other than that it's a couple of very easy builds, chop down outer barrel, thread for silencer, fit LOOOOONG silencer to cover inner barrel, job done.

I think the difficulty is the Remington MARS rail? I think that's made by Badger for Remington. I don't know if you can actually buy one. There is a similar rail called the McCann MIRS.

What is the best R700/M24 replica availible? I don't care if it is gas or spiring, I just want something with a lot of aftermarket support, and that is realistic enough to fit some RS with out modding them to hell.

How easy would it be to make a stock that resembles the HS precision stock? Say I started with an M24 stock; what is a good cheek peice that resembles the HS one?

 

-The muzzle break is OPs Inc. aka the 'SPR flashhider' in AS terms.

Are there any good short fluted barrels for availible? (For whatever base gun decided upon above?) How about thread adaptors?

BTW, I want to see how possible the R700 USR is and if I can't make it I will fall back on the M24A3.

 

EDIT: I just saw T3CH and slu's posts. I'm looking up the MIRS now. The rail is my favorite part of both guns so it (or something similar) is really neccesary.

your best base gun would be a tanaka m700 or a.i.c.s depening on the rifle you choose to do

Are there any M24's in stock anywhere? (Either Tanaka or CA) How is the CAW M24?
