Tek-Spec
Anyone know what sights fit the TM glock 17? Its the 3rd gen with the night sights but i want to swap these out for some real steel trijicons etc. From what little i have read it seems some real steel sights do not fit? anyone using aftermarket sights on there TM G17? Thanks
Firefly0
I got the Freedom Art sights for my G17 but they give a race look to your glock but i think you don't want that? There is also this at Redwolf: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=28572 And i think you can't use real sights, unless you modify them somehow.
Tek-Spec
Thanks, Yeah I've seen the freedom art fiber optic sights. I'm not going for the race gun look on the 17, going to do a G34 race gun though Sad that the TM can't take RS sights without modding, tritiums would really set it off nice. Firefly0
If you are thinking in using the Prime/BoomArms G34 slide i must warn you that the FA rear sight needs modification to fit on it. Btw i forgot about these sights that i found some time ago, i think they are around 90$ and the shop is located in Japan. http://www.oceancustomtactical.com/xssightg1726.htm
Tek-Spec
Thanks for the info, I'll remember that when i start the build. Those jap sights look ok, price is way off for me though as they cost the same as trijicons, meprolights etc. I'm going to look into whats required in terms of modding RS sights to fit, if its just a bit of filing then it might be ok. greg
Buy a cheap 'tracer'/ H3 watch for about £65. Smash it open to get enough isotopes to do 4 pistols. Cut/drill 1x2.5mm slots into the existing sites. Less than £20/pistol for home made trijis. Viola! Greg.
Tek-Spec
Good thinking! i can actually just get the tubes on there own so no need to smash and grab Saying that my dremel crapped itself but it's still a possibilty *rings friend to ask for dremel* Cheers

For less than a fiver each? (that's how much the 13 you can get out of a tracer work out) Where? Greg.
Crimson
Greg your so wise if i had known that i would have done that on my acorg ! If you buy some let me know i want some too ! Tek you should go for this look : Already working on the glock hey ? Real steel sights fit easy on ksc because of the design on the 3rd gen Tm ones the slights also act as anchor points so you cant use real steel ones unless you adapt one

gisburn20
I got mine from the fishing counter at the coventry branch of "Go Outdoors" they had all sorts of sizes from maybe 30mm X 6mm down to the small ones I got, 3mm X 1mm (ish) they call them "Betalights" or "Isotopes" in the fishing world. I think the small ones were for the "arms" in a bite detector, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fox-Micron-Betalight...=item483932c10e this looks about the same, (but they dont list the size) I had to use the "night sights" for my G17 as the standard sights didnt have enough thickness to be drilled out to fit the 3mm tubes. Jim Thanks, I know what they are & what they are called, having used the larger ones while fishing over the last 35 years. & I can testify that they need replacing at about the 15 year point. However, I have yet to find a fishing store that sells ones that are small enough for sight use. The only ones that I have found for fox alarms etc. are way to big. Greg. Tek-Spec
What about just the front sight? i'm guessing RS front sights will fit the marui?
HolyHandGrenad3
Something like this work?: http://cgi.ebay.com/Tritium-Keychain-Sight...=item4ce8ced0ff How is tritium composed? Can it be cut to size? Sorry, I'm wayyyy out of my realm with this, but it sounds like a great idea.
HolyHandGrenad3
Wait, wait, wait... tritium is a gas o.O I'm not thinking correctly, haha.
