scorch
Does anyone know where I can find some inert 5.7x28 ammo either in the UK or somewhere that will ship to the UK? Don't want much, just a few rounds. Thanks Scott

Guest
I'm sure you could find some at the War & Peace show, but that's down in Kent... Good day out though!

SuperJesus37
Getting 5.7 ammo over in the States is hard enough, much less having the tools to reload them into live/inert rounds and getting it into the UK. I think you're SOL.
renegadecow
Actually, the 5.7 round is gaining popularity and prices are going lower in the US (some as low as $20 per 50rd carton). Reloading the special round is highly unrecommended by FNH/USA because of the unforgiving pressure tolerances it has. There's only one recipe AFAIK and straying out of it will definitely make it go KB as given evidence by the sole privately owned 5-7 that has met catastrophic failure this way (I read through the 5-7 forums a lot). That said, there's a guy over at the 5-7 forums who machines inert rounds out of high grade aluminum meant to be used as snap caps for something like $10 per round.
