Jimmypie
As above, any fellow VFC Scar-H users can confirm or deny this for me, im not having much luck with my searches, regards Jim.
msx361
IIRC those mags were made for the g&p(?) sr25 and have a small bump at the back that runs the length of the body, like a normal m4 mag. Again IIRC the Scar H doesnt have that groove and the vfc mags are flat at the back. I havent tried to fit them personally but i doubt they will.
Habakure
Wasn't there a guy in the scar picture thread, that showed the mod you have to do, to make them fit (dremeling the mag's lip and altering the mag catch area)?
Jimmypie
I thought I'd seen someone do it, but wasn't sure if it was the VFC , and now cant find it.
Habakure
Page 13, by Mrcheetos, though I'm now not sure if its a vfc scar (after skimming through, it may have been for a dboyi scar H, which is a copy of the vfc scar h).
Jimmypie
cheers for that, had a look and it seems like a bit of dremel action could sort it ,id really like to hear from anyone thats actually done it though, to let me know if they fit and feed ok, or if its a "it'll do" job. Habakure
I'll be attempting this mod on a 20lr pts mag myself, just waiting for the mag to arrive ( for a dboyi scar h). Then the dremeling begins.
DarkLite
It does work with a bit of dremeling, but you need to make sure you take it slowly so it still feeds at the end of it. And after all that, you'll still have mad compression issues with the absolutely *suitcase* VFC hop-up unit.
