Is the full lower all 1911 compatible? And as far as the upper goes, is the bbu and hopup same as a 1911 or hicapa?

look at the FOLIAGE WARRIOR and DESERT WARRIOR. its one of those with a strike face. yes the lower is 1911 Compatible

Nope.

 

You would need a correct BBU to match the Hi-Capa slide as the BBU for the Detonics and Strike is remodeled so it fits the gun.

 

The hop up unit might with a bit of modding but due to the different style that the Detonics outer barrel and HUU have, with the push clip it would just be easier to get a seperate hop unit, inner and outer barrel.

Many after-market BBUs are advertised for use with hi-capa and 1911, but not MEU.  This all has to do with the position of the screw in the rear sight, and where/how it makes contact with the top of the BBU.  A few BBUs are universal, and I'm sure alterations can be made with a dremel.

No, the Detonics slide uses a different BBU assembly, barrel and guide rod set. The slide does work in 1911s and Hi-Capas, but isn't internally compatible. To the OP, yes the frame is 1911 compatible. The slide is all Detonics though.
