Wood kit on a WE AK PMC?

Hey there, I wanna buy a WE AK PMC but I was wondering, are there any wood kits out there for it?

From what I can tell right now is that there seems to be a rail on the gas tube and I don't know if that would be bad for the gun if you were to remove that. I also don't know if any wood hand guard would fit on that thing since it looks kinda off and like some parts are missing for it to accept wood kits.

If this is not true, what kind of wood kit fits on it?

RA-Tech makes a wooden kit for it... visit Airsofttaiwan for more info...

Also I mis-read your name as something else entirely...

I think that one only fits the 74u, not the PMC. Unless of course you can chance those without any hassle, but I doubt it.

And you just have a dirty mind :P

You can just put real wood kits and a real gas tube onto it.http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=145614

I have soviet plum furniture and an LCT gas tube on mine.

I don't own a WE AK and have never seen one, but that kit you linked is for a Marui style AEG. The receiver piece that includes the gas tube will not fit at all. The wood can probably be made to fit, but it's a terrible choice nonetheless. Seriously, buy some RS wood like discodante said. Rusmilitary is the one place I can think of off the top of my head that usually has some in stock. Their prices are fairly steep though, you can probably get a better deal if you look around. I bought my soviet AKM handguard from a gun show for 30€.

It will likely not be a drop in fit in any case.
