The Insider
A New PPSH EBB has been release with the ZL brand name, which i think is the 3rd one now. Although in think the Hexagon model is now discontinued.SSDD.It looks very similar to previous models, with the exception of a darker wood stock and this one comes with a Wire Pull mag. Is now available for distribution in limited stock for now.Out of the box it shoots great with a 9.6v and only 1 miss-feed in 30 + rds fired,And has a excellent finish on the wood and steel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDT5vt6aFAA https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.619995181418563.1073741964.463847467033336&type=
renegadecow
ZL as in Zeta Labs? Don't they owe people money for VSS vaporware pre-orders? edit: Is it me or is that hand gigantic? This might be a miniature scale replica. edit: NVM. Stupid depth of field.
The Insider
ZL as in Zeta Labs? Don't they owe people money for VSS vaporware pre-orders? No... this is ZL's second gun, there first being the SA-58 which come n 3 models, rifle, carbine and fold-able and seemed to be a flawless model. and why does every little obcuse or new company releasing a new model have do be zeta labs... oh... lol ZL. I think maybe that's just a unlucky coincidence. maybe. lol.
Wingmann
Trigger response seems to be very, very slow. Can the EBB be disconnected? Does it affect the FPS stability? Thanks!
Horsem4n
well, if its a clone of the ARES design, the blow back is very easily disabled(and recommended ad the ARES has a tendency to eject the safety switch). the trigger response is slow could be either a crappy motor or just using a 9.6v battery. shame though its another PPSH42. i want a folding stock model. Wingmann
I've been some time thinking about making a late WW2 Eastern Front German kit, and this would make a good excuse...
ninja master of coffee
Horsem4n, do you mean a PPS43? I get the impression an AEG would be tricky if not impossible due to the receiver providing very tight internal dimensions. That said some kind of AEP gear box could work but you'd have associated lower velocity. Nice to see another non-Ares PPSh though!
Horsem4n
your right, i didnt think about it much when i was typing earlier. i was thinking of something more along the lines of a Vietnamese K-50M or the one from this image that i cannot really find much info on: there were other copies with folding/retractable stocks and metal receivers too. wait, i feel like i have had this conversation before... ollie_ty
The ZL FAL is great until you start loosening screws. Goodbye threads!
Horsem4n
just found this thread of an airsofter converting an ARES PPSH into a K50M. its a lot easier than i thought and apparently after making the proper length receiver(ok, maybe a LITTLE longer than the real one), the motor cage still fits in just fine. just had to make a battery space in the new grip. i may do this. http://stlouisairsoftplayers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7771 just a shame they have micro switch triggers
