zerograffit
Hi guys Ive given up and have to ask you guys... (Ive searched online with no answer) Problem: My standard vfc/sa glock 17 randomly shoots in full auto (like an 18c) so i went and ask crw-airsoft for diagnosis and he suggested to get a whole hammer housing set. So i bought and installed. Now my g17 shoots in full auto every trigger pull! Went back to crw-airsoft's shop and asks for another advice, and annoyingly replied "i dont know" ... could it be the sear? "I don't know" Im not trying to bash him but as a shop owner i expect alittle more than a "i dont know". Hoping to get help from you guys, anyone had this problem with a gbb going full auto? I am guessing it would be the sear? (That connects the trigger and the hammer) If need pics, pls say which parts... Thank you guys
Stuey
OK so you know the Stark G17 has a little selector inside the slide that lets you choose full auto or semi? I'd check that first.
DrAlexanderTobacco
My G17 from Stark did NOT come with the FA switch. This has started to happen to mine too - The source of the problem is a worn trigger sear I think.

DrAlexanderTobacco
Not yet unfortunately I don't have the time at the moment to source a replacement. I've never really taken apart a pistol before apart from a basic field strip - So I can't help you unfortunately

famidesu
My WE G17 has the same problem now. It had to do with me swapping out the trigger lever and fiddling around with the hammer housing. I just saw that you wrote that there wasn't any selector inside the slide so that's not the problem obviously. In my case it might be the worn out valve knocker. But other than that right now, I am clueless. BUT happy that my trigger works as it should again.
