Mouse
I wasn't sure if this was an error or purposeful.. Hopefully someone can answer that for me. I noticed when you click the edit button on a rep you've given to edit the text part it says incorrect board use, or something along the lines of. Are you supposed to be able to edit the text? Or is the idea that you can't change it and the error message is somewhat vague... Then again surely the edit button shouldn't be displayed if you can't edit reps... Personally I think it's a good idea to allow you to edit the text part of reps..

Ghost_Rider
Agree, so long as there is a limit to how long you have to edit.
HaVoC
I'd also make it a good idea to be able to change whether it's a +1 or -1. I've clicked the wrong one before, by accident.
Sledge
Yes, Arnie could extenisvely rewrite the code. Or, and here's a radical notion, you could CHECK WHAT YOU'VE WRITTEN BEFORE HITTING ENTER!
R22Master
Ummmm, yes. Well, it's a good point in theory, but we all make mistakes from time to time. A couple of days ago, I gave a warning point to the wrong user, then tried to reverse it, but didn't notice that the "Increase Warn" option was still selected. The new warn stated my apology, but increased the innocent user's warn another point. I then had 2 to remove. Did I feel stupid (sorry "The Bushman") This error on editing has existed since the system was added. It is just something that Arnie has not got round to fixing so far, but I am pretty sure it is on his extensive "To-Do" list
Para
Yep, this would be a good idea.
Mouse
Oh okay, don't worry I'm not storming and demanding it be fixed lol, just curious if it was an actual error/script problem. So is it possible to actually remove rep points? Or do you have to be a mod?
R22Master
It's not possible to remove them, but you can counter a negative with a positive and vice-versa.
Mouse
Yup that's what I thought. Okey dokey, cheers mate.
cadetrichards
hey does someone mind countering the retalitory rep I got from cpaxton as retaliation is against the rules cheers
Sledge
Report it to Arnie. I don't think anyone wants to get in the middle of a childish rep point war.
