staticzero
IDK. I probably would have gotten a CA if I had thought about it before ordering....but hell. I'm happy with mine. its a great gun. And.....wait. Do all those STAR conversion kits fit the CA properly? I heard that the CA was slightly smaller in dimensions than the Marui for which the conversion kits were originally for? ~P <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They'll fit. They may just need a little more work. I was able to fit a CA body on my TM internals after all. I still think its better to get a TM if you know you'll be installing a conversion kit, though. The TM and CA are both solid, reliable guns. They each have their plusses and minuses. It's up to the buyer to decide which one seems more appropriate for them. It's a case by case thing, I think. However, if you want a G36E or G36KE there's only one game in town these days!
guinnessman
Never handled a CA36, but my TM G36C has served me well. And with a G&G G36K-RAS kit installed I've had a few favourable comments passed by other airsofters - apparently it is the most evil-looking rifle one of the guys had ever seen. Thats what I call a compliment!
RSM
For those who have a TM, any things you need to look out for, or tighten up/loctite? I know the little white decal can come off on the selector but anything else?
cazboab
the hand gaurd pin is held in by a hope, a blob of blutac jams it in nicely without being seen. and the sling loop on the stock snaps very easilly aparently.
staticzero
You'll probably want to keep an eye on the selector lever grub screws too (at the very least). It would be better to locktight them in place.
RSM
Thanks, getting to those grub screws easy to get to or what?
Prometheus
I'd say the stuff above is pretty good. (First Factory sells a locking pin though, so that solves that for about $10) Another problem I know of is that...wait...I dont know of any others...HA ~P
bronney
Or get one of these: http://www.dentrinityshop.com/pr_details.jsp?pid=5526 mm mm steel That's what I use btw, mine never came with an o-ring on the factory pin.
staticzero
Thanks, getting to those grub screws easy to get to or what? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Totally easy. They're the same size as the flash hider grub screw, so you can just use the allen key that comes with the gun to check them once in a while.
evan142002
awesome gun. My friend has one we play every weekend. Has an excellent rof, range, and accuracy for a stock gun. It truly is a beaut. I personall like my ak47 upgraded fps wise, I wont say how high tho i Dont want to get in trouble hehe.
