O_RLY?.YA_RLY!
How do i buy a money order (I saw they sell them at the post office so yeah)? What information about the seller do i need? Do i just mail it in a regular envelope?
ChiefLouk
I think you just need the buyer's name, like a check. You can just mail it like a regular letter.
R22Master
The best place to look would probably be the post-office's web site or as a teller at your local branch. At least that would be 100% accurate info. ------------------------------------------------------------- This is really more an "Off-Topic" topic than a "Newbie Discussion" discussion. Gene
Yep, first time I ever used a MO, I just went to the post office and said "I'd like a money order please." The semi-nice people there guided me through the rest.

GaMeFrEAK1018
say u want a money order for $100. go to your local USPS post office and go up to the teller and say "I'd like a $100 money order, please." and they'll hand one over to you and charge you $100 + about 90 cents for the actual cost of buying a money order. now you have this pretty little green piece of paper. the M.O. has 2 "parts" to it. a top part and bottom part. the top part is meant to be ripped off and kept for your own records, the bottom part is the part you send out. next step is filling it out. all you need to know is their name and address, and your name and address, which go on the bottom part. simple enough. it's advised that you put their name and address on the top part so u have accurate records. easy as pie. or a piece of cake. whichever is easiest.
