Mike_West
After the Both Elephant AUG metal gearbox was released, I got an idea. There's a guy in my country who sells bits and parts of cheap airsoft guns (those 30quid ones) - I got an idea for a cheap, AUG-gearbox driven P90 made out of Well D90 shell. Trigger would work like in a Muzzelite Mini14 stock - attached to a long bar that would press the "real" trigger hidden inside. The first problem: would a v3 fit the contour of the gun? Kov
No, a V3 is shaped like like a pistol while the P90 gearbox us more like a brick. A FAMAS gearbox would work however, but is quite large.
Pendra
I don't think so. It would be way more trouble than it worths. The only way to get a decent P90 is to buy a TM P90.
davecymru
I had one of those cheepo P90's It's made of VERY cheap plastic, so even if you can mod the motor connection to the grearbox so that it can fit inside (this is going to be your BIG problem area), then you'd probablly end up hollowing out the entire internals and adding internal side rails to mount it onto. I'd say it's do-able, it's just not going to be easy.
Prometheus
Buy a TM P90 dude. Way better build and they will actually work.
