0nslaught
hey all, i play counter strike and was looking for some skins for my M4A1. i saw an LR300 with a SIR system. it looked realy kool, i dont know if you guys like it but i like it alot. are there any SIR systems for airsoft? and if so is there one that would fit on an LR300? http://www.totalpaintballgear.com/images/a...I.R.System3.jpg theres a SIR system for a paintball gun. i want to make my LR300 look as much as this one http://www.zmweapons.com/LR%20300-ML-A%202.JPG hm, i just found one on WGC, http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...RIS%20and%20RAS but will that fit on my LR300? this is an edit, i just found one from samurai, http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...RIS%20and%20RAS want it VERY badly for my LR300..wondering if i could do sumtin to make it go on my LR300, the lr300 is alot like the M4 so do u guys think it will fit? SOCOM
I have the LR-300 too and have the real ARMS S.I.R. rail. I have not thought about putting it on my LR-300 but there should not be a problem with putting it on. As far as how it would look, it would just be a typical M4 with the S.I.R. as the body is the same except the markings.
0nslaught
jeez lol how much did u spend on that, i saw it on google it looks very nice. hm so you think it will fit, but i want some more opinions on this, the SIR rail is almost 200 dollars. do you think the samurai one (http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...RIS%20and%20RAS) will fit? 0nslaught
does anyone know if the samurai SIR system will work on the LR300? anyone?
1cem4n
why not the ICS one? it's supposed to be better made and exactly the dimensions but it can't hold a battery I THINK, maybe a small one. i know the samurai has a custom battery but get the ICS and a battery sling. 0nslaught
because samurai make very reliable and very nice parts. i havent decided completely on which one to get but i will once i get a confirmation that a SIR system will work on an LR300

tome
I managed to fit a 9.6v 1100mah Ni-cd battery in the ICS SIR. But i think that's the limit of it really. Maybe you could squeeze a 1200mah 9.6V Intellect too...
SOCOM
Here are a couple of quick pics of the S.I.R on the LR-300. I had put tape on the rail on the upper receiver to make it sit tighter. The S.I.R. rail also does not sit uniformly when the top of the S.I.R. rail is put all the way back. I had to move it up a little so that it would sit right. A delta ring won't be able to fit on the LR-300 as there is nothing to screw it on. Hope this helps.
0nslaught
thank you thank you thank you! that is perfect, just what i needed. i sent u a PM, so let me get this straight....it fits, but its not a very tight fit and u had to do some things. it looks like the only thing that is hold it in are the screws on the upper reciever...is it a tight fit now? since u did some mods. do you think its safe to just leave it hanging on the upper reciever? please reply PM or reply here. this is an edit, when you say move up, what by that? SOCOM
Here are a couple of quick pics of the S.I.R on the LR-300. I had put tape on the rail on the upper receiver to make it sit tighter. You'll see the yellow electric tap on top of the rail of the upper receiver. The S.I.R. rail is all the way back and you see that it does not sit uniform with the rail of the LR-300 upper receiver so I had to move it just a bit forward. Hope this helps. I just remembered my ACOG (not the dot version) is the same way. I have to electric tape on it so it sits firmly.
