ipod nano help

how would one reset a ipod nano? mine stopped being able to connect to my pc, it charges, but wont show up, so i guess i need to reset totally anyone know how?

mine all you do is hold the center button.

itunes works fine, and has for years...

and i should say, its one of the new nanos, not the old ones

I had this problem. You probably set it to "Enable disc use", Like I made the mistake of doing. This set it right again.

If that doesn't work, I guess restoring the iPod to factory settings might help.

for the record, i believe you toggle the hold switch on then off, then hold the center and menu button

Hit it with a sledgehammer, throw it in the garbage, then hit yourself with the sledgehammer for being suckered into buying an apple product.

 

Seriously though, i had this problem at first with my Zen, i just plugged it into the charger and started randomly flipping the power switch and pushing buttons. It works perfectly now, so i imagine an ipod would give a similar result.

tbh i hated ipods, but i love the nano cos its tiny and fits in a bag without weighing me down, and fits in a jeans pocket.

If you havn't downloaded the updated software that can mess with it. I had the same problem with my ipod nano, but my comp still connected to my normal ipod. I had to update the software on the nano to synch it, and i ould do all you could before. You can download from apple directly, but you have to register with email/etc.
