0nslaught
http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...05VHW_srch_Mk23 KSC MK23 Hard Kick Heavy Weight ( 2005 Ver. ) http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i..._KSC%20Handguns KSC MK23 Hard Kick Heavy Weight Commercial ( 2005 Ver ) Whats the difference between those two? what does "commercial" mean? All i can see is there is a difference in trademarks on the slide. Does anyone know if there are internal differences also? http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...ame%20For%20KSC Also, does anyone know where i can buy that metal slide above? its a Phase III slide, not the Phase II. if not then i think ill buy the Prime one. and those Mk23's i showed above have heavy weight frames right? thanks
Octopus
When they say commercial, they mean the civilian model. Military Mk23's say "MK23" on the slide, but civilian ones say "Mark 23" on the slide.
0nslaught
oohh, i see. so there is no difference between internals?
Azulsky
Not at all, It is just slide markings, which are irrelevant if you want to get a metal slide immediately.
Hades
I saw a Commercial HW yesterday and please keep in mind that the Slide is HW but the frame was ABS type. The 05 HW and the 05 Commercial HW does not thave the same frame. I recommend buying the normal 05 HW. Although internally they are the same gun, if you are buying an aftermarket slide, I'd recommend the normal HW, it's night and day compared to a ABS frame.
snowman
The commercial model (the real one) is really shiney, so you get a shiney slide on the KSC version of it. Cheers.
Paintchip
I dont thing there should be any problems with slide swaping. i have a frankin- MK23 from the older model and the 05 versions and i have had no problems with that and i have had all 3 of my slides put on the gun
