RacingManiac
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...tail?newsID=821 CNC frame with full length slide rail and 1911 style inner hammer block secured by pins. Supposedly available with trades, but the pics don't show that.... I am not sure I particularly like the idea of lighter weight, as I do like some heft to a full metal upgraded pistol, and the fact that its not a moving part should mean that the weight wouldn't actually affect gun's funtion. But I do like the rail and the new hammer mechanism's packaging, should means less chance of the finicky Freedom Art style fitment.... Should be pretty high on people's list when building a race Hi-Capa....if they only they make black with rail....
Bronco5150
It comes with the hammer mechanism shown in the pictures, correct?
RacingManiac
no mention of it, and it looks like stock Hi-Capa hammer, so I am going to say no.... Pretty interesting to build a race gun with AS BBU, mid-frame, and hammer mech...
Utty
Looks good, though I'm fine with the way the normal hi-capa frame takes down. This is sure to cost an assload.
hkssr20det
I really like the full length rails. It should help with any twitchiness and increase shot to shot accuracy. I have been impressed the latest AS parts for the Hi Capa. The BBU was great. The hammer sets are the best on the market right now. I will stump up and buy one of these for sure. I wonder about the hammer, but it must come with a new sear if they are going to run that two pin system.
RacingManiac
It looks like it might be a different sear....since I am guessing like 1911 they run the thinner pin through the sear?
Hades
I agree, it looks like he cut out part of the rear of a 1911 and bored out a capa frame ti fit that in there like the subframe design. Nice, I hope he makes a LDC style 6inch.
ViciousV10s
It looks like is mades to accept stock hammer/sear/valve knocker parts but it has to come with that removeable valve knocker/hammer housing...otherwise it wouldn't work....
hkssr20det
I just wonder where those two pins run then. One usually goes through the sear, and the other through the hammer.
r.ocelot
Looks like those two pins are for keeping the sub frame inside the main frame.
4boost
Interesting .... I love the idea of having full length rails. Wonder what else he has in the works. If this proves to be quality I hope AS plans on making other frame lengths as I'm an LDC kinda guy
the4thpower3
Here's a quote from CL himself... "Coming soon, I have a lot of custom frame and open gun slide set, and parts too"
RacingManiac
what's that sound I am hearing from my wallet....I think its some sort of painful moaning....
